    What's the longest time you went in between gigs?

    I have gone up to a month in between getting a request from a long time customer for a freelance service. If I were depending on freelancing to earn a full time income, I would be homeless at that rate.

    I don't rely on freelance services either, but have been in between gigs for awhile. It's fun while it lasts, getting the extra money from freelancing.

    It has been a few weeks since my last consulting or freelance job and that is the longest time between gigs.

    I am not fond of doing freelance jobs because they lack consistency and there is never a constant flow of money.

    But freelancing is good part time income so long as you are not depending on it to pay bills.
