    I am not even sure how I got my first job. I guess just be honest and work hard and you will get to where you need to be.

    Things have changed a lot since I joined. I had the luxury of bumping 5/24 hrs... That was my success back then, along with forum posting. Now it's my repeat customers and the new ones I get through bumping (few and far between).

    I get customers from the forum, because they like to read the posts to get a feel of the Seller's personality and abilities. They see how your represent yourself in both personal and professional sides. They see your writing style, your work ethic, and the knowledge you have about the services they're looking for.

    I remember back in the day how you could bump a service if you edited it. Once edited, the service would automatically bump to the top.

    I'm happy they changed it back to five bumps per 24 hours. It's easier to bump services now, I have read.

    I joined SeoClerks about 2 weeks ago and got my first order yesterday by bidding in WTB offers.

    However, I am still new to this bumping thing and would love to hear more about it to better utilize it to my advantage and getting more orders

    This idea about bidding on the WTB offers is a good suggestion. I'm always seeing on the forum where a newcomer is asking how to get their first sale. I will suggest the WTB idea next time I see that asked.

    Yes it works and is working quite well. In fact as I am writing this post I received another inbox notification of the 2nd order received.

    I wish new sellers take the bidding system here more seriously to make a jump start.

    If you follow these steps you will get definitely your 1st order.
    1.Make your service price not more than $5
    2.Create one coupon of your service
    3.bump your service in US TIME ZONE
    4.Try to use paid bump so that your gig will get more exposure.

    My first gig sold was 30 forum posts for $5.00. I offered five more forum posts than my nearest competitor. And that's how I got my first job on SEOClerks.

    Since then, I've been able to get many more good reviews which has allowed me to raise my prices significantly while still offering highest quality content creation and forum posting services.

    Many of my customers are repeat and come back time and again for my services. It feels good knowing that I'm offering a service that people really need.
