This is very great. thanks so much for this. my question is this: does promotion of service gig links still seems to work out. do promotion works automatically or does it time some time before one can begin to see good traffic. how can one get a good traffic to his gigs apart from the usual bumping?

Hey @chetaseo
We're talking about the actual url for a specific service, right?

I some cases, you'll manage to get good results from posting service urls directly. Especially within "Buy & Sell" sections in various forums. Many forums allows affiliate urls within this section too, so in case you can't promote your own service you can always promote other users services using your affiliate id. However, you should obviously read the rules & guidelines on each forum before doing any promotions at all.

That said, these results you'll get are from readers from these threads. Users who's looking for the same type of service you're promoting etc. Which in theory means TARGETED people.

So besides using the bump feature, I'd say advertising. Target your clients & advertise. Reach out to the potential clients directly.

EDIT:
I will actually edit this post & add some more information as I felt that I missed a few things..

People are often too focused on direct traffic to their services.. So they spread every inch of any forum they come across with links to their services. In desperate moves to make money.. We all want sales and we know that we'll need lots of traffic to get our beloved orders.. right?

Take a look at McDonald's for instance. Have you ever seen an ad for their new "super-hot-super-mega-king-burger" which sells in ONE specific McDonald's restaurant? -Probably not.. And why? -Because we are all aware of McDonald's. We know what it is.. They don't target you THAT way. They advertise McDonald's instead of that AMAZING new burger.

So.. Can you make people aware of your services without actually giving them a link to it..?

The answer is yes. The answer is Brand building. Promote your name instead of specific services. Build reputation. Build your name. However, brand building takes time.. And you'll need to put in tons of effort so never try to do this if you provide something you don't believe in. You need to believe in yourself and in your services. You need to stick with it. That's how you'll benefit from it.

Best Regards,
hitmeasap

Hello & thank you for the question Let Me Answer Some Of Your Questions. Business related or not.

I have about 4 or 5 different things I've been planning for quite some time, actually 6 or 7 if I count smaller projects too, but due to the fact that I lack investment and time to initiate all of these, I need to re-think, re-consider and focus on only one thing at the time. When I manage to find some more free time, I'll take another step forward to the next project.

However, the first new thing I'll do in 2016, is a release of a product of mine, which I've been working on for a few months now.. The product isn't finished yet but hopefully it will be in January or February 2016. At least, that's what I'm aiming for.

That being said, I'm not sure if SEOClerks is the right place for this product (and I honestly don't think it is), but I'll probably list it on SEOClerks too, just for the sake of it, more or less. The finished product will be available in 3 different packages and before I actually launch the product, I'll probably setup some good commissions for affiliates who's interested in promoting it.

The only thing I want for Christmas, is more free time! Let Me Answer Some Of Your Questions. Business related or not.

Merry Christmas!

Can you tell me a services that will promote my clerks to other people?

Hello & thank you for the question.

So, what you're looking for is a service you could use to advertise your own services? Is that correct?
I assume your goal here is to get attention to your services and a chance to gain sales..?

I'll break it down to you, in the most simple way I can..

Take a look at these:
https://www.seoclerks.com/facebook...ook-group-member
https://www.seoclerks.com/Social-N...-Facebook-groups

(Sorry for advertising and for namedropping, however, this has nothing to do with these specific sellers in any way.)

These services I've mentioned is just used as an example. There's tons of similar ones out there. Just browse the marketplace and you'll find them.

Sorted by "total orders" - Click Here search phrase"advertise".

However, services like this might sound great and all.. Millions of people will see your links and services in a flash.. But most of them are just a waste of time and money. It's sad but it's true. For instance, why would, let's say, 1 million baseball fans click your website link or service link if you don't provide anything baseball related? .. The odds are slim to none.

With that being said, if you provide some AMAZING baseball related service, you'll have a huge chance of gaining clicks to your links.. Right?

This is the reason for sellers of such services. They provide their service and the buyers are crossing their fingers and wish for sales.. I would say that 99% of the times, the buyers won't gain a dime by using such services..

Well, this wasn't a very good answer for your question.. So I'll try to provide a more detailed answer below..

You'll need something unique and something of very good quality for this to work.. You should aim for something like affiliates and/or lists. You could hire people who's sending emails to their own email lists. That's one way to go. You need someone to promote your services and how they promote, that's where you'll need to do some research. Blasting emails to 500,000 "buyers" or spamming Facebook fan pages with 2 posts per day etc.. That just won't work.

You'll need a serious marketer to promote your services. They often charge you a couple of hundred dollars for a short email to their clients and because of the quite high rates, the results can be very good. Services with a pricetag of $1 or $2 will probably never give you any results at all..

However, the best way to promote your services, in my opinion, would be by building your own reputation. By building your brand. Which is my main business. By doing that, you'll benefit in the long run. With that being said, building brand is very time consuming and often "tedious" tasks for the ordinary people. Which is why I focus on that. I build my clients reputation and I build their brand, so they can focus on other things themselves.

Think about it this way...
Why would anyone promote YOUR service for a few bucks instead of promoting their OWN services and make TONS of money? .. The answer is simple.

If you're looking for good results you should do it yourself and/or use talented and experienced experts and pay whatever they charge.. That way you'll get results you can be satisfied with..

Hope this answers your question.

Hello & thank you for this question!

As I've already explained multiple times within the forum, in different threads already, I'd say that post creation, which is my main business, would be one of the best ways to gain clients. Especially since you're building your brand and reputation simultaneously. With that being said, brand building requires tons of effort and you'll need to put in loads of hours, (usually), as it's time consuming and most people feels that brand building is a tedious task. However, the results are often extremely good and it's totally free.

Other than that, I'd go with Facebook Ads, which obviously is a method you'll need investments for, but we all know that Facebook is a HUGE deal when it comes to potential clients, as millions of users are using it.

Thanks for your concern & effort. Here is my question. What is the best way to get affiliate sales?

Hello @creativehead, that depends on many different factors. "THE" best way would be extremely hard to tell but if I provide an answer from my own experience and my own results.. Then I would say: Forum Posts

Other methods like setting up affiliate sites, sending emails, interacting with people on social medias could also be very benefical. The results will depend on things like, product/service, CTA (call to action), price etc. The list can be long..

However, I noticed that you wrote "affiliate sales" in your question and I'm not 100% sure of what you mean, if you mean affiliate sales or how to get affiliates.. But I'll share some details from my own account & a short story of how I managed to do it..

Here's the details from my account:
Let Me Answer Some Of Your Questions. Business related or not.

Note that I haven't done a single thing to gain affiliates for more than a year now.. Until December 10th 2015. On December 10th, I made ONE single Forum Post and here's the results from that one post.

As you can see on the above screenshots, these are affiliates sorted by join date. 60+ Affiliates from 1 forum post alone..

I won't disclose the thread or the forum but I'll tell you this.. Forums are GREAT as long as you use them properly.. And why..?

Because EACH and EVERY TIME a new reply is made within the thread, it goes straight to the top of the board.. Which obviously results in MORE attention to it.. Exposure is everything. Without exposure you won't get affiliates.. Or sales.

Hello @hotcontent!

If you're not willing to invest money you'll need to invest time. That said, I'd go with niche targeted replies on peoples comments. What are they looking for? How much are they willing to invest? Can you deliver it? .. Interact with people, that's all you can do.

Try to find people who's looking for specific services or products and comment on their posts. You can also become a member of certain fan pages and start discussions with other people. It's free but it's time consuming.

Thank you @creativehead, I wish you the best of luck & you're welcome Let Me Answer Some Of Your Questions. Business related or not.

The "buy & sell" sections are often very good to use, especially since lots of forums allows affiliate links (read the forum rules for each forum) and each reply in these threads will be targeted as long as you provide related answers. Which basically means, you'll get affiliate clicks and can ultimately land lots of affiliates. Let Me Answer Some Of Your Questions. Business related or not.

That's outstanding results! Let Me Answer Some Of Your Questions. Business related or not.

The reason I go with forum posts instead of blogs is that traffic already exists when it comes to forums but not when it comes to blogs I create.. However, a professional blog with traffic would probably give you amazing results too, and @Topseoservice is just one example of someone who's had great results using blogs. Keep up the good work!
