What's the best revenue sharing sites for writers?

Are there any really good revenue sharing sites for writers? Currently, I'm using Hubpages. I have not used Triond in awhile so I'm not sure if they pay good.

I would rather create my own blog posts as I can control what type of advertising appears there. So for instance, I'm not dependent on Adsense to earn money as you would be with Hubpages or Triond.

Another reason I like blogging on my own is because I can sell the blog to someone else after traffic and posts are built up. Then I have earned an additional sum of money from all my work, not just the advertising revenue.

There was a time when there so many good revenue sharing sites for writers, for instance Helium, Squidoo, Bubblews. These were good paying sites. However, all of these sites have been shut down. Currently, Hubpages is the only site that pays good money for the writers. Hubpages offer multiple ways to earn, for instance hubpages ads, google adsense ads, and affiliate marketing. However, it is not easy to earn through hubpages, you need hundred of thousands visitors to earn decent amount.

I don't think I can partake in writing for some of those sites for I spend my time writing on my blogs and by that way get more visitors that come to the site. So, I don't know any of the revenue sharing sites for now.
