Non-English speaking writers who produce English language articles

I have tried using some article writing services online with paid writers, but the quality of the writing is not very good as the writers as usually not native English speakers so the language used in the article is not very smooth. Other than writing my own content, I'm lost as to how to get good English speaking writers who will write affordably. I don't want articles with typos and improper word usuage. Since I'm paying, I don't think this is really too much to ask.

Some people are really talented writers in any language. But, someone who is selling an article to an English site should take time to provide a carefully worded translation of the original article so as not to confuse the language. This is an important step for a writer who is not a natural born English speaker.

I know there's times when I shake my head, as I wouldn't think for a second that I could read and write Japanese. (That would actually be for entertainment value, I suppose..lol)
Now in saying that, I'm not perfect, but I try my hardest to ensure quality.
I just find it frustrating sometimes, as there are people who purchase a writing service and end up re-writing the content because of eligibility. Sad really...

You pay for writing services, but how much do you pay? What's your pay rate? If you are paying just $2 for 500 words article, you cannot get a good quality writer. Only the writers who use English as the second language will write for low payment. If you pay at least $5 for 500 words you may get a good writer.

I confess that English is our second language and I agree that my written English may not be considered American English or even British English. That's why I am flattered to receive offers to write blogs and website contents. But I never offered my services to write because I don't have the confidence yet. Maybe some years from now, I can be considered a good writer in English.

I think to get a good writer, the pay rate should be good. You should have figured it out by now that those you readily agree to write an article for a low pay are most times not Native speakers. So if you need a good article try to pay more and look at the rating to really decipher if the person is good or not.

I don't think writing good articles have anything to do with native English speakers and all that. What really matters is the ability of those people to write amazing articles for you and not about where they come from per say. So, giving them a test first can help to know if they are worth the time of writing for you.

I agree with the test. Maybe a 100-word article can be a good way of measuring the capability of the writer vis-à-vis the required English standard of the client. I have encountered some forums who criticize my English that it is not American. In that vein, I guess the style is important to the client and we have to respect it. Some people say that my English is good and I know that some do not agree. Again, I respect their opinion.

I don't think that the problem is with non native English speakers. If you have not hired a good writer then this is bound to happen. This is the reason I always do a little test before hiring someone to test their skills. If you want to have a really good article then you must hire a high quality writer.
