How do you keep your subscribers happy so they don't unsubscribe?

One of the most important things you can do when building a list is to communicate regularly with your subscribers by providing them with tips and other useful information related to your site or niche. If your site is about health, then you could provide health related tips. If the newsletter is about your site, then you could simply provide useful updates and links to items which are on sale or available for discount that week.

These are two really good ways to keep your subscribers entertained so they don't unsubscribe.

Don't ignore your list for too long or they will begin to unsubscribe once you get around to sending them an email. The best way to avoid this happening is to use an autoresponder which sends out messages automatically.

Don't push the affiliate links on your list too heavily and only promote quality products that are worth your reader's time.

I think maybe adding a feedback link on your website is something you could do to help keep your subscribers happy. It would allow them to give you feedback on your site, what worked for them, what they would like to see more of etc. It is just one of the things that you might need on your site.

I am one happy subscriber of a blog because I always learn something from the posts. I love to read blogs that are true to life and with some lessons that you don’t read in the papers or in the books. Reading an article about something that we already know is boring unless there is an interesting ingredient that is new and beneficial to the reader.
