    How often should you purge your list of inactives?

    Is it useful to purge your list of inactive members who have not clicked on links or bought products (through your link/site) since subscribing? These people could be considered inactives. Also, what is your technique for purging your list?

    This is something I would do every 2-3 months, depending on the email list size as you would not want a high rate of undelivered mail or other mail being reported as spam.

    Some people purge the list after one month for unopened emails. And, that might sound excessive, but if you are emailing every other day and the subscriber hasn't opened even one email then further emails are unnecessary as they will go unopened too.
