And, do you earn when site visitors search using the Google search? Was that one of the primary reasons for choosing it or just convenience?

Google search is a good default search engine for a blog. I was just wondering as there are some sites that let you use their own search bar. It's more of a 'search this site' function though. I'm not sure how they make it work, only that I've seen/used it on some of my sites.

Some years back, I was hired to do SEO work for a business site. The person hiring me wanted the site to rank on google.co.uk, for very specific keywords - because the company and site were located in the UK. I am not new to ranking sites, so the site ended up ranking well all around. Which search engine do you use on your website/blog?
