My biggest issue with backlinking is knowing how to make them look natural or keep them from appearing too obvious. Please share your best techniques for creating natural looking backlinks (including quantity, quality, frequency, etc).

Just think about this, most times, when you are a regular forum member, you will have multiple backlinks in your signature line and this indicates you are a regular on that site. The same is true for blogs. If you read that blog regularly, you are likely to leave a comment every time, so you will have more than one backlink. But, if you were just link building, you might only have just one backlink such as from a blog comment. It would depend on the age of your site as to how many backlinks you could get quickly.
