    Facebook shares it also a factor - Google considers the social shares in the run of PR update. Getting/Covering a huge traffic is possible with facebook /facebook ads.
    Website with ZERO back-links and 1000 Facebook shares ... will this increase my PR? I don't think so Is facebook is helpful for increase your SEO page ranking ?

    SMO is never generate back link that's why it not passes link juice. Lake of link juice, how your site increase PR by them?
    It is just increase link visibility and popularity on search engine. That's all. Is facebook is helpful for increase your SEO page ranking ?

    PR has been Updated before one year ago, it's simple until Google will not update, we can't get the PR with the site, you can share anywhere no benefits. Just know more a little about it on this forum, you will get the right info but i am assured once Google will update it sure we will get the benefits of it. Just follow the Algorithm, how they consider it.

    I think the so called social signals can help your standing with the search engines. The social signal is the post that you make on Facebook whether it is on your timeline or on Facebook Pages or Facebook Groups. When you post your site’s link in those places then it will be considered a backlink. Correct me if I am wrong in my understanding. But definitely Facebook can give an advantage to your site if you know the ways and means of getting traffic and also in having more influence in search engines.
