The simple solution is to write great content and publish great content. Posting lengthy tutorials that answer common questions your site visitors may have is a great way to attract both real site visitors and search engine attention.

I don't do content farming because when I write and publish, I do not think about search engine rank. When I am writing and publishing, I always think about the people who are going to read. However, once the content is published, I begin to think about how to rank better and pull organic traffic.
I have written for content mill though.

This is new to me and it looks like a site that is doing content farming is trying to trick the search engines. We can say that content farming is one bad side effect of SEO that some website owners are thinking of how to take advantage of the search engine results. Anyway, I guess content farming is not for a legitimate writer because we write for our readers and not for the search engines.
