As the result, in 2016 the Moz metrics are completely meaningless for seo purpose. Thousands domains with high DA are google penalized or banned.

To be honest, I am wondering why there is that notion that domain authority and page authority is not functioning anymore, I mean not a factor with search engines anymore. My take on this issue is that as long as the search engines are alive an kicking, all those related to the search engines operations will also be alive and kicking.
