    How often do you ask Facebook fans to like/share content?

    One of the easiest and most important ways to get Facebook likes/shares on your page content is by simply asking for it. This call to action is essential for getting feedback and response and many fans won't take the next step to like or share your content unless asked. But, how often as you asking your fans to interact with the content you have created?

    I would have to say not to do it too often or you could end up harming yourself. If you ask too much, many may get annoyed with it.

    For my Facebook pages, once I create amazing contents that I know needs lots of likes, shares and comments, I can ask my fans to share and talk about on their timelines and all that. The reason is to keep popularizing my stay on the social media network.

    I have some friends who send me a private message once in a while in requesting for a like on the post on a page. It is often a requested like for a particular candidate in a contest. Messages like that annoys me so if the sender is not my close friend then he becomes a candidate to the unfriend list. But for my close friends, I just ignore that message because I don’t want to hurt their feelings. But I don’t obey the instructions though because I don’t even know the candidate.

    I always include a short message at the end of my content saying "please like, comment and share.....". Having this reminder is very effective because people reading my content would see it and be automatically reminded just right after they finish reading it.
