i always check my facebook account. i spend facebook daily 15+ hours.

And, that is for business related reasons? Is it mostly about updating your page? Or, dealing with clients?

If I am on Facebook to moderate my Facebook group or add an update to my Facebook page, then I will naturally check my own Facebook account for messages. But I try not to mix personal and business time on Facebook.

That is the best way to keep everything clean. Once I made a mistake of adding my business friends on my personal fb account and it made me crazy, as some of my professional friends tried flirting with my relatives :|

I check my personal one every 3-4 hours to keep in communication with friends and family. I check my Fan Pages at least once every 2 hours to post and do upkeep.

I check my Facebook every morning, around 9 am. Most times I have been working since 5 AM. If I wake up later like 7 AM, then I will just wait till noon before checking Facebook as I don't want the site's drama and distractions to interfere with work.

Checking Facebook hourly seems a little much more like an obsession. Assuming you are using Facebook for business, you could simply leave the page open and reload to check new comments. Otherwise, using more than that for personal reasons is not needed.

Lately, I have Facebook open on a tab when I'm online. But I try not to check it too often. I might just stop logging in. But I was gone from it for so long. I'm sure I will just get tired of the site again and stop visiting altogether.

If I have nothing else to do and nothing on television to watch, then I go to Facebook and just hang out there doing nothing important for an hour or so. Sometimes, I'll check my messages and talk to friends on private chat, other times just play games. But, I rarely just check into Facebook at odd times as it's a distraction from what I'm supposed to be doing that moment.

I am using Facebook for professional reasons and try to keep my use of the site limited to business only reasons. For that reason, I am on the site a few times an hour if needed to moderate my group on Facebook or check private messages from new contacts through my page. Since it's business related and will usually result in some type of work then I can justify the time spent there.

I'm very happy to see new things posted by my friends. It's a lovely way to wake up in the morning and the best way to get myself going when I just feel like sleeping in.

It's nice that you have such a positive experience on Facebook. Not everyone sees the sunny side of social media.

You have to be careful that Facebook does not consume all your work time or else you won't be able to finish your tasks or job on time.

That's why it's important to only occasionally check Facebook if it's not for business.

i check daily like 2 hours bcz i have allot of friends

I got so fed up with Facebook drama that I just stopped checking in. It had just become a very unhappy place.

Now I want to go back to Facebook and scrub my 'friend list' of all the drama queens. I might have no one left on my friend list but that will be ok as then I can work in peace on my Facebook page and group without having to deal with people who make Facebook a bad place for me.

From here on out, it's just strictly business for Facebook.

I have real life friends and family and that's all that matters.

I actually do not check my Facebook account daily unless I have plenty of slack time. Facebook is one of my diversions in my busy office job. My usual activity in Facebook is to check the posts of my friends. And as much as possible, I react by liking and commenting if needed. For my posts, I also try to posts pictures with a caption so they can also react on it and they do most of the time. But I only post about twice a week depending on the availability of photos that I can post. When I go abroad, you can expect a daily post of photos from me.
