    What's the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you on Facebook?

    Once after a really bad break up, my partner decided to screenshot our private messages and shared to his Facebook wall. It was very embarrassing as those things were meant to be private and never shared openly. That would be the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me on Facebook. It was many years ago, so I'm over it. Kind of seems funny now.

    Once I accidentaly 'hearted' the wrong person in my friend list chat by private message. I meant to send that heartie to my boyfriend, who has the same first name. It was funny/embarrassing at the time. He laughed it off but I could tell that it made him feel a little nervous toward me. Things are worked out now, but I have learned to double check all messages before sending to make sure they are going to the right person.

    That kind of thing happens a lot in online communication, just say, 'wrong person' and move on. They will understand. Though maybe the person who received the wrong message will wonder who it was intended for.

    Once a facebook friend came to chat. I responded positively. Then she went nasty and began to talk obscenities. I decided to have fun, but after a while I got tired she went vulgar.
    later I knew my friend account was hacked. It was a hacker who was chatting to me. I knew my friend could read muy cha messages and this embarassed me very much.

    It's not me but my childhood friend who posted on Facebook about her quarrel with the wife of her ex. She was making hate posts everyday with no name until her mortal enemy got wind of her posts. The enemy posted on my friend's timeline a picture of my friend in a compromising position with another guy (not her husband). It was really embarrassing to think that my friend was a prude person. What happened next was the Facebook account had to be deleted to put a closure on the issue. I'm really glad that it did not happen to me.
