It makes good sense that Facebook would want to aggressively crack down on fake like sellers as they are in their own way selling likes via the official Facebook ads. There is money at stake on this one as if Facebook page admins/owners can buy cheap fake Facebook likes, then why bother with the more expensive ads?

Facebook is losing alot of money due to fake likes aswell as twitter , instagram dont offer ads for followers but facebook loses the most as they give you packages to target customers for your fan page and they dont come very cheap
Facebook is going hard on people but users will never stop selling likes , sellers will find way round to stop facebook from detecting

Where money is at stake, businesses are brutal and won't stop until they stomp out the perceived competition.

What really is amazing is that there's a willing market for it. I mean ive been seeing pages with a lot of likes but without decent content, it's a dead giveaway that the likes are fake. I really don't understand the use of it, personally I won't even consider this kind of services.

My take on fake likes is the coding that does the work. It may not be considered bots that click the page to effect a “like” but it is a kernel or something. Anyway, those fake likes can be traced and everything will be reversed. Now the news is out that Facebook has began a crackdown on companies that are producing those fake likes. Let us see what happens next to those sellers of fake likes.

I usually laugh at both buyers and sellers of fake Facebook likes because the buyers are two gullible and the sellers are just scamming the buyers. People should be educated that fake Facebook likes can't help your site.
