    Is it beneficial to link from Google+ posts or pages for SEO purposes? Do these links have any value for ranking?

    Of course these have a great value for SEO... It requires a long time to explain, but I also recommend your to use near G+ next social networks: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Stumbleupon, Pinterest, Instagram, Vine, etc.

    Yes, always include social media giants in your SEO and SM strategies.They bring a lot of traffic. You just need to work with it. Join communities that is with the same niche with you. Add people in your circle and have them share your post etc. Good luck!

    Some links on your Google+ page or profile are most likely do follow. Also, your Google+ posts will be more easily indexed by Google. There is a lot of authority connected with Google+ posts, so any link coming off of them (even if no follow) would have some relevance to Google.

    G+ is a social media. Social media generates social signals. Social signals help in search engine ranking. Actually social signals are very important aspect of off page SEO. However, just sharing on g+ does not help, your post must generate +1, resharing as well as clicks. The main SEO benefit of g+ is generating social signals.

    Based on what I had read in other discussions about Google Plus, it is very similar to Facebook in being a social media network. You also have your connections like the friends in Facebook. However, an account in Google Plus has the advantage of the social signals that are more effective than the social signals in ordinary social media network. Please correct me if I am wrong in my understanding.
