    The backlinks will not be good for SEO but they can be found in Google search via tweets. There is no guarantee that someone finding your tweets on Google search would read them or click through on the links you posted.

    If the link on your tweet appears in the Google’s search list then that means Twitter is a do-follow link. Am I right on this conclusion? I am having an issue of understanding the no-follow and do follow links. Anyway, SEO is the means to be friendly to the search engines and as you said the tweet will appear on the search list therefore the tweet can be considered a legitimate backlink that can be beneficial to your site in terms of traffic.

    Although to have any real benefit, you need to have a large following of GENUINE people.

    I'm not sure if this is true, but I read on another webmaster forum where a guy said that he ranked one of his websites from Twitter backlinks alone. Apparently, the site had no other backlinks than the ones coming from Twitter. So maybe Google values even the no follow backlinks from Twitter as a sign that a site is authoritative or at least popular. After all, Twitter is a site for social sharing.

    @ beverly ,.yea,you may be somehow right on what you said. also twitter is also a high authority site also just like Facebook.
