When you say bookmark description, it should be directly related to what you are posting. My take on the description is the shorter, the better, but it should be clear and not vague. For example, if you tweet about your latest blog, make sure that the tweet is interesting and the description of your blog is short and concise to leave a quality bookmark. You will actually know if your tweet is good because it will be re-tweeted.
