    Yuku may have been around as early as 2005. It's from the people who make ezboards
    There seems to be a free/paid version.

    I think this is just the most recent incarnation of ezboards, which was a very popular free forum platform in the mid 2000's.

    Ezboards huh... I think I might have joined one many years ago. Though I forgot now what site is that.

    This subject is very to me because this is the first time that I’ve come across a free social network. Based on the description, Yuku is a site that allows you to create your own social network. Am I right on that? When I want to have my own network of friends that I will be simulating Facebook then I can create that in Yuku?
