Is Google + better than Facebook?

I like Google + for posting about my forum/blogs as there is a more involved community of readers. Facebook is alright for backlinking. And, though I get some people reading my posts, there is more interactivity on Google +. Also, Google + is better for SEO and backlinking. So, posting there actually helps me get better rankings in search engines and traffic.

Which one works better for you, Google + or Facbeook?

I have to agree with you because Facebook has the most number of users in the social media industry. Even Twitter is far behind in the numbers that makes Facebook all alone as the leader. The problem with Google Plus is that it is designed for business and non-business people are turned off because of the formality unlike Facebook that is designed for everyone regardless of the standing in life.

From a popularity point of view, no. Not by a long shot. I consider G+ way more user friendly and better customized but that's about it...

Friendly is a good way to put it, especially if you are tech oriented. So many really brainy people on Google + posting about really cool things.

Can you post in complete sentence and not use textspeak. It's very hard to understand what you meant.

These people think they're being clever and sneaky and no one sees them for the spammers they are.

If you think the posts are spam to you, you can report them to Facebook or block/unfriend your friend who's doing that.

The numbers change rapidly, but they currently look roughly like this845 million for Facebook. Google+ is technically still in beta release, and for a time, membership was by invite only. Despite that, it grew rapidly. While Facebook took two years (plus two years at a limited-access level) to reach the 100 million-user mark, Google+ did it in seven months. Google+ is adding 750,000 new users daily. In 2009, Facebook was hitting similar numbers, but its user base growth rate has since slowed and is expected to be 6.6% for 2012 (compared to near 40% in 2010).
Even if Google+ keeps up its growth rate (analysts have it possibly hitting 350 million to 400 million users by the end of 2012), Facebook is likely to remain on top for at least the next few years in terms of user numbers. What remains to be seen is whether Google+ can maintain its current growth rate given the demographics of its current user base.

50% facebook users are usin fake accounts since each person using 2 to 3 accounts to got friendship with new friends....we cannot identified which is original or fake.....

No. It's easy to see if one is using a fake account. If the name is not his real name, and have too many friends.
Another thing is not using his real photos.

As someone else mentioned, just best not to add people you don't really know or you will get in situation with spammers.

Facebook is not optional if you're interested in reaching consumers. But i'm always surprised that many bloggers think of Google + as optional as if they don't even need to bother. You might not notice traffic coming from it now, but the posts/links you are putting up will pay off later when the site catches on. And, for sure with increased search engine ranking.

I know some people who have Google+ accounts just to read messages or posts from their favorite celebrities. I do have one, but I rarely access it. You can say that it's still untouched since the day I made it. XD

Some people will just be naturally drawn to Google+ because it's different and on the outside and not everyone wants to follow the crowd. Those people will happily jump from Facebook to any other nearly popular site.

I have not made use of Google+ in a long time, but using Facebook has really benefited me in one way or the other and that's the reason I will say that Facebook is the better choice here.

I feel Facebook is better than Google+. My Facebook friends always ready the blog links that I share on my timeline. I also share my blog links on Google+ and although I don't have active Google+ friends, my site can appear on Google when I search my Google + username.

I have checked Google+ on the suggestion of one writer friend. It’s a social media network, all right, and very similar to Facebook. However, I didn’t get the feel that I was having in Facebook. It may be the atmosphere or the kind of people were more formal. It’s another innovation of Google but I wonder why they cannot push it to the limits. Doesn’t Google want a direct competition with Facebook?
