Do you host images/videos?

If you are on a limited disk space plan with your host company, you will want to make use of other services for hosting photos and videos. Do you use other sites to host videos or photos or host them on your own server space?

I host my own images since it can result in clicks from image searches but I host videos on YouTube.

I host all images on my own space. Though sometimes people will hotlink to my images and waste my bandwidth.

It's too expensive to host videos, so I upload to Youtube or Vimeo. Youtube is a good place to host videos as you can get found via Google search. And, if you include the source of the video in the description, the viewer will know to click through for similar videos and info on the same subject.

i think Amazon S3 super reliable. You may host all your images, scripts, css files, videos, pdfs, etc on Amazon to take this unnecessary load off your server.

I make use of the Jetpack CDN and Amazon AWS for hosting the images. I am not much into Videos as of yet for my personal site. So I am hosting them on Youtube. No personal own hosting as of yet for this. I am also thinking about Amazon AWS for video bbut it can be bandwidth consuming. Hopefully I may soon migrate to some of the services such as Wistia etc. Those are lot better in that case.
