Lately my internet connection has been acting really funny. My modem randomly loses the signal around mid-afternoon and doesn't come on for an hour or so. The pages just keep loading. Often, the images don't show up or elements on a page, such as CSS are missing too. I have disconnected my modem and reconnected many times. I have tried both ethernet/wired and wireless and still the connection is running slow. I need some help troubleshooting my connection.

If your internet signal is going out regularly, that could be an issue with your internet service provider. You should call your ISP or switch internet service providers to get a more persistent signal.

How much bandwidth are you using monthly? Maybe you are streaming too many Netflix or Youtube videos. If so, your internet company is probably cutting off your connection due to excess bandwidth charges. That's just one thing that could be going on with your connection.

Your modem is most likely about to quit on you. You should ask your internet service provider to give you another modem. Though maybe, they will want you to pay for it.
