I splurged on myself and bought a new tablet for my birthday. It's been a very good purchase so far as I can check emails without being at the computer and update my Twitter whenever I want.

That's a really cool idea. What brand of graphics tablet did you buy for her and what tools is she using, such as software? I would be interested in this type of tablet for myself.

My most recent purchase of a gadget was last year. It is a Samsung tablet that I gave my husband because he is having great difficulty in using the small smart phone. He is actually a computer user but when we are away he is forced to use the smart phone with a small screen. The cost of the tablet at around $200 that was on sale was worth it because I also use the tablet sometimes and it is very convenient than the smart phone.
