When your day is not going good

I'm having one of those bad days now, where nothing is working out. I stayed up late working and slept too late as my alarm didn't go off and now everything is a minor irritation. Maybe it's just me or the day but nothing is going right.

You might not be getting enough sleep. When you don't rest well or are tired, annoyances can seem exaggerated. Just get out and take a walk. The fresh air will clear your head and make you feel ready to take on the rest of your day.

If possible, take the day off rather than suffering through it. If you work for yourself, then you likely have this option. Otherwise, just try to endure the day until you can get home.

I'm having a few of those days lately, where nothing goes right. Mostly, it's because I am not sleeping well and have so much to do. Still, I cannot complain as a year ago, I was bored with my life and wondering what I would do. Now, I have no time for boredom. My answer to this is to simply take a deep breath, close your eyes to regain your focus and realize that things are much better than you think. Once you regain your composure you can clearly think through the situation.

When I'm having one of my bad days where I just feel annoyed and irritated by everything, I like to just pause, take a moment, sit back, close my eyes, take a few deep breaths and tell myself that not everything can be in control all the time, sometimes things go out of hand and its okay, the only thing you can change is the way you react to things so calm down, pull yourself together and get through the day with peace and positivity. When you think things are bad, just remember and be thankful that something much worse could have happened and it didn't. Instead of complaining about all the things that are going wrong, be happy and thankful about all the other things that are going right.

Take a break. Go for a walk. Make a sweet snack. Watch your favorite TV series. Cuddle your cat. Paint a picture. Take some random pictures. Take a nap. Shop online for a new fragrance. Help your neighbor. Take another break. Recycle. Rearrange your shoe closet. Hug your kids. Kiss your partner. Make funny faces in the mirror. Watch a comedy program.

I think having the so called bad hair day is normal. Even if you had a good night's sleep and everything seems to be all right, suddenly a string of disappointments will occur. And in times like that, my first defense is to smile and count my blessings. I have a nice family, a good home, a relatively new car.... and some other positive things that I can think of. That will soothe my mind somehow and later on I would be able to ignore the snags that came my way. And don't forget that it's no use to dwell on the problem too much, you will just add burden to your mind.

I think I try to do something that is more good for my mind. That's how I am adjusting with the changes around. i don't think it's possible to do that all the time. But I guess it's better to be doing things that way though. Because we all have different way to handle the life. And when things don't go our own way we have to focus on making it better on different ways. It works better that way as well. I personally think that good days happen when you take the risk.

Really sorry for your bad day, but we have bad and good ones. Maybe you're really exhausted from job and daily issues. Also, if you're not sleeping properly, for sure everything will look irritating. Whenever that happens, you really have to take a good cup of coffee or energy drink, don't get stuck thinking about how bad your day is going to be, because you will attract more sadness and wrong feelings. Get yourself into something, maybe a game for about 10 minutes to get you distracted, and then move on forward.
