    Hello all,

    is it possible in such a summer month to work in a room with out AC ?

    My grandfather didn't have one and he lived and worked well its not possible to work from a home with out AC

    You can open a window and turn a fan toward you. This will make it very easy to live in the heat. You should leave your door open and wear light clothes too. That will help.

    When it is super hot I can not work at all. I have to have a fan on or the air on to concentrate.

    Open the windows, dress cool, or put on a fan. This way you can try to be cool and still work.

    It depends on from which region you are, our Indian summer happens to be 45-49 degree centigrade .

    It is very hard to work without an AC.

    it is possible to work from home without AC. such peoples who deserve with middle family or poor family and some poor middle man can't afford AC cost and too much expensive electricity cost for AC.

    So, it is 100% possible to work from home without AC in summer season. its not possible to work from a home with out AC

    That is 113 degrees Fahrenheit? That is insanely hot! its not possible to work from a home with out AC

    It gets to be around 90 degrees Fahrenheit in summer here and I thought that was hot. I wilt on summer days. its not possible to work from a home with out AC

    Then again, I hate the cold weather too. And spring time (which is my favorite time of year) was very chilly and rainy. Very few sunny nice days.

    So apparently no weather, makes me happy. :/

    It's definitely possible, nobody even has ACs in my country. So it all really depends on where you live and also how your body and mind reacts to heat. I can work with any weather, in any condition, upside down and under water if necessary its not possible to work from a home with out AC

    Working in AC condition is not good for your health. So try to get as much as natural air without AC.

    I always have the AC running in the summer. My husband works outside for a living and he requests to have the house as cold as it can be when he gets home.

    I have heard that India very hot in the summer. Of course, it is possible to work without an A/C in India, but it doesn't sound comfortable. Work harder this winter so that you can buy an A/C in the summer.

    Its all depends upon every individual living style.Persons who does not afford air-conditioner,also do work well in summers.They wear light cotton stuff dress,windows and doors are opened for the circulation of fresh air with fan at the top.

    Air conditioners are an overrated comfort. Not everyone can afford it and not everybody would necessarily want an AC. If you enjoy the working in AC situation and are totally capable of handling one, great! But it is definitely not a necessity, people can work just as fine without it.

    You need the air to work in such condition with the air conditioner. So, I would suggest you open the windows and try to work with the electric fan on well. But nothing beats the fresh air you can get from outside the building.

    My background in computer started with the mainframe where the computer room is very cold with the big air conditioners. With that, my mentality for computers is to use it in cold places and if possible there is air conditioning. That’s no problem in the office because there is air conditioning. But at home I always use an electric fan not only to cool myself but also to cool my computer.
