Why are my sales down ?

Hello i have been here from couple of years and i haven't seen this type of low sales rate in this month. I have only made 4 to 5 sales in this month.
So what is this why are my sales down? Doesn't SEOClerks promote their own site or not?

Sales periodically rise and drop depending on many factors, like season, affiliate activities, promotions etc... As this similar discussion was made couple days ago, for your reference, please read this post where you can find more info how to boost your sales!

If your sales are down, you can do the following things:
  • Bump your services daily
  • Promote your services offsite, but do not spam your services anywhere
  • Find marketplace affiliates willing to promote your services, there are many affiliates available
  • Research your service prices, and find the average price on the marketplace for your services category, perhaps adjust the price
  • Make your service better, include free work or bonuses if needed
  • Make your service SEO friendly, do you include specific keywords? Is your service page ranked in the search engines for your keywords?
  • Buy featuring, and highlighting as suggested above
  • Always remember to thank your buyers, and be polite

A little goes a long way in terms of customer service, we can not stress this enough. You may want to revamp your services, add graphics that explains how your service works. You can add graphs detailing how your work has helped your buyers. Proof sometimes is key to selling SEO and/or SMM services. Give your future potential buyers a reason to not order anyone's else service if you sell the same thing, stomp your competition out!

I have experienced a rise in sales not a decline actually. SeoClerks is very popular and it is not a matter of advertising or reputation as there is no doubt that it is one of the best platforms you could use. There are many successful sellers here. It is all about seasonal changes, maybe your usual buyers are on holiday as we are in summer now after all! Try putting some of your services on sale, and bump frequently to see if it helps. You could also announce a new service and let your followers know about it so as to spark some interest.

Don't be dismayed it seems like sales are down for other services as well at the moment. You might try to use different tags or try a different but similar category to see if your services get's noticed more! Or bump your price up and put your service on sale. Good luckWhy are my sales down ?

When you bump your price up and put your service on sale you are not going to fool anybody as other sellers' prices are going to be similar to your nonetheless. People are not stupid. There are certain prices for certain services and prospective buyers are going to be aware of that. If you want to attract people to you, you should be reliable and trustworthy, not try to make fun of people by playing around with prices.

But if your service item is only a dollar the only way to put it on sale is to do what I have mentioned maybe I should have clarified that a little better.

That would still qualify as a form of false advertising to an extent. You could increase the price, and offer more in terms of service, or a quicker turnaround time to make up for that.

Maybe to a small extent, I don't know! But that big red sales mark stands out and people take notice. I have always had wonderful luck with the highlight feature it has always paid for itself in the end also.

Yes I know that a service looks more prominent with the slashed price marked in red, but you still need to be cautious and if it is just about making it look more in contrast with other services in the marketplace, you could always opt for highlighting options.

It just depends on your competition and quality as to whether or not this idea of hiking prices and then discounting works. When I was more active as a seller, my niche was blog comments and forum posts - it's just what I'm good at and I always provided really good quality content so people were very willing to pay more money for it. And, this idea worked for me specifically, by raising even doubling prices, so if someone wanted 100 forum posts, they had to pay more. And, most of the 'competition' was still charging only a few dollars for the same type of service. And, I was still getting sales due to the high quality and customer service, despite the high price. And, all my regular buyers knew what they would have to pay to get my services and there was always a waiting list. And, then about once a month, I would offer some kind of insane discount on a very popular, in-demand service. And that was usually more than enough to generate sales to keep me busy for weeks. This strategy works long term and it took me a long time to build to that - initially I was doing the cheapie prices and it attracted really bad/picky/hard-to-please buyers, so price cutting is not the number one way to build your business - though it does work for short term gains. You can't just raise your prices today and discount tomorrow and you have to be willing to wait it out for weeks and have fewer sales initially until you can build your brand reputation as a seller along with repeat buyers. That's when the strategy pays off. Your regular buyers who loved your service will come back time and again and pay whatever you are asking, even as you gradually increase prices. Though most loyal customers will appreciate a periodic discount and buy in bulk quantity as a result. At least that's how it worked for me. Again, I was in a low competition niche, offered very high quality service, good communication, etc, s this idea worked well for that reason and i can't say how it would work for Facebook or Soundcloud - seems everyone is deep discounting there.

For a seller with $1.00 services that can't discount anymore, you can still double your offering such as, 'Purchase my 100 Facebook likes for $1.00 and get double - that's 200 likes for the price of one'. Obviously that's just an example and you would have to customize it to your own offering.
Or bump your price up and put your service on sale.

Hi SMMEXPRESS thanks for show your concern here. Yes! sale may ups and down each day or each month even year. Sale never be constant and it should be fluctuate. And it may happen for several reasons. Anwebservice also leave some clue. And some point you can put in your mind as a freelancer on SEOclerks. Do you change your service title or description what was before? If so, sale may decrease, because at this time your service may down grade considering of quality. And try to find out what service now valuable on SEOclerks and try to sale such type of service. Do not forget, buyer demand may change anytime. So, consider that matter.
And used SEOclerks some awesome featured. Used bump for your service, you can do bump by free or paid. Decrease your response time. Often communicate with your buyer. If possible make your service as featured. Hope your sale will increase.
Finally I suggest to you, do not forget to serve quality service, everything behind quality.

Thanks by Ajlancer

There are many reasons why your sale went down this month. It could simply just be a bad month and everyone has these bad days. It could also be due to your competitors offering cheaper services or you have not bumped your service enough so customers are not seeing your service. Getting repeat buyers is also important to increase your sales so check out this topic. There is also another topic about how to be a power seller. My advice is use the tips to optimise your services and you should see a rise in your sales.

Hope this helps!

The higher your service is listed on the front page and category listings, the more sales you'll get. You can earn free bumps by doing various tasks or pay for bumps. Paid bumps add extra benefits to your service

Hi there,

Are you doing anything in order to increase your own sales or are you relying on SeoClerks to bring in the sales for you? I understand that there are a ton of buyers here, and a lot of them were brought in from other sellers as well as the search engines and advertising. But you could get out there and do some marketing on your own services, if you aren't already.

Hello SMMEXPRESS

As you've already got many wonderful ideas and potential factors for this. I'll just reply on this:

So what is this why are my sales down? Doesn't SEOClerks promote their own site or not?

SEOClerks do various promotions and advertising campaigns. They have been doing this for the last few years, and I suppose they've done this right from the launch of SEOClerks. With that being said, do you need new users to make sales? In case you do, I'd recommend that you alter your services a bit so you can get recurring customers, as that's one of the biggest reasons for anyone to be successful.

Best Regards,
hitmeasap
