    hi

    i never noticed or found any youtube video ranked in yahoo search engine. Does yahoo not allow youtube to rank?

    Interesting question, I never thought about it... I've got some videos ranking on page one of Google. It will be really interesting to see where they rank on Yahoo!

    I'm going to go and check and I will let you know what I find.

    It looks to me like Youtube videos rank better on Google than Yahoo. It certainly make sense since Youtube is part of Google.

    YouTube videos do rank on Yahoo! and Bing but usually not as well since they algorithms of Yahoo! and Bing are different than they are on Google.

    Now this doesn't mean you can't get your YouTube video to the top of the rankings in Yahoo! and Bing, you'll just have to take a different approach when doing so.

    A lot of people focus on optimizing their content and videos for Google since that is the search engine which gets the majority of the traffic. Why would you optimize a video for Yahoo! and Bing when you could get it ranked on Google and get 5 to 7 times the amount of traffic. The exact reasoning isn't clear to why it's more difficult to rank YouTube videos on Yahoo! and Bing, but we can only assume that it's because Google is their main competitor and they also own YouTube. You wouldn't really want to send traffic to your competitors website and take a chance of losing them forever. And that's why we have to assume this, even though assuming isn't the best way to acquire statistics lol Do youtube videos rank in yahoo search

    I'm not too big into video advertising and marketing for myself, but I've done it plenty for clients and have gotten their videos ranked all over the place. I don't focus on the Yahoo! and Bing rankings, but I did notice that it takes longer to rank videos on Yahoo! and Bing, but that's probably because my videos are on YouTube Do youtube videos rank in yahoo search This is the main reason I tell people to post their videos everywhere and not just on YouTube ;)

    I think youtube has a reputation outside google search. So people link to it. And they don't discriminate in such case. I have found that some of the results of youtube are found in Bing and so does yahoo. You can also find the results for those in duckduckgo. So its definitely possible for sure. I think each search results are different in that case.

    Definitely YouTube videos are ranked better in Google than in any other search engine. But I don't think it is discriminated by Yahoo search. From what I have noticed, Yahoo Search is using a very different algorithm such that search results differ much with Google and Bing.

    I read online that Google products can be ranked by both Yahoo and bing but might not appear in the top page like Google because there are using a different algorithm.

    So surely it can be ranked by Yahoo but don't expect it to be on the same page like Google search engine.

    Search ResultsIn fact there might be a better chance of getting your video in the first page of the search results than putting a webpage up there. Youtube, if you still don't know it, is the second largest search engine around. Yes it beats even Yahoo and Bing.
