Yes. Effectively you should focus to rank on Google more than any other search engine, because it is where the majority of online searchers go, and it seems that other search engines, including Bing and Yahoo follow behind it. So your rule of thumb should be to rank well in Google, and then you will probably manage to rank quite well both in Bing and Yahoo. Moreover Bing's market share is increasing lately, and this seems to be related to the fact that they made a deal with Yahoo to serve ads there. Some of the main ranking factors for Yahoo/Bing include:
  • Having keywords in the domain
  • Having links from social sites
  • On-page SEO.

I think Bing and Yahoo search ads are differently configured. Though the contract between the Yahoo and Bing makes it possible to use both search results. It can be fun to see how the ranking through Bing can be different on the Yahoo. I guess this is because targeting works differently for both the companies.

Obviously yes because Yahoo search is supported by Bing search engine. You just need to make good ranking over Bing search engines then automatically you will be on the ranking directly to Yahoo search. Do use some PPC ad campaign with Bing if you are a newbie because it will gonna help you to improve your ranking on Bing and Yahoo search engines both simultaneously.

Hi, the answer is yes because Yahoo search is supported by Bing search engine. Basically what this means is whenever you run a search on yahoo.com you get exactly the same results as on Bing. Some things that are not the same is the navigation, some universal results (except images and videos) and related searches.

Through research, I think the answer is in the positive.Sice Bing and Yahoo are interconnected it would be believable that a site or blog rank space in any of the two would be the same space for the other. But I prefer one rank higher in Google search.A lot of people hardly used the other two.

It sounds like both yahoo and Bing are inter related according to users so if you rank well on one you should rank well on the other. It is just one of the options that you might look for when you are trying to find ways to rank. However, I think your first priority should be ranking on Google.

My understanding of the SEO methods that we can do to our website will apply not only to Google but also to all other search engines. That means if your site is ranking good in Yahoo then it can also be ranking good in Bing. However, search engines have their own algorithm – that is the formula based on their criteria on how to create the search list that contains the relevant links. Taken the algorithm into consideration, the ranking of your site in search engines can be the same or not.

Whether you get the same rankings on two search engines would depend on numerous factors. While yes it would be possible to have the same rankings one thing I know is your site has a higher likelihood of having a better rank on Yahoo search if it's older than your competitors. But that is just one ranking factor. If bing prioritizes it too then you would get good rankings on both search engines.

It is always advisable though to optimize your site for Google. It's just that their guidelines are great if your interest is to create content your readers will love. And that's what matters most. Give the readers what they seek and search engines will notice and reward you.
