I'm interested to know what keyword tools everyone here recommends? What keyword research tool do you think is the best one available?
I currently use Jaaxy which works really well for me and it is a good price for $19 a month.
I don't use Google Keyword Planner simply because I struggled with it and I have also heard that it does not give a true reflection of organic searches, it is more for paid Adword campaigns... is this correct?

so not sure about competitors as I always choose low competition

I've had a good amount of success doing it this way, but I do agree that the numbers are a bit inflated. Their "Estimated Traffic" is garbage but at least it gives me an idea of what keywords are better than others. And sometimes they're even right on a keyword here and there and I'll make a good ROI

What does Jaaxy offer that others don't? I see a few standard features on there that I like, but most keyword checkers/planners have those. I understand that a paid keyword tool is much more useful because they use some of your money to invest into proxies, which are always nice to use when searching
I'm in need of a good keyword tool, paid or free, in order to research niches I want to get in to. Just jumping into a niche can be heartbreaking because a lot of the keywords can be extremely difficult to rank for. And if you want to make money from the website within a month, you'll want to pick a niche that is easy to rank in. I use an actual adwords campaign, not just the planner. I feel that the planner is slightly different than when you set up a campaign and add keywords to it.
