Who was the best fighting champion in the world??

Hello guys, I wanted to bring up this discussion/debate on who you think the best boxer is ALI or Floyd Mayweather? Floyd went out undefeated and accomplished many many goals during his career both in and out of the ring. Ali had some loses and didn't make nearly as much money as Floyd. Muhammad Ali won the world championship 3 times and Floyd won the championship and retained the title undefeated! Although it's two different weight classes I think if a fight was somehow possible between these two in their prime would be epic. Well guys I have not really decided I'm hoping to get some feedback on what you guys think about this.

I don't like Mayweather either, he isn't really that great. He always boasts about how much money he earns, or how much money he carries with him.. etc. Then we have Muhammad Ali, who basically said he was the "greatest", which got on my nerves. I wasn't alive during his boxing career but people say he was the greatest.. lol

I Think your very honest lol! I Agree Muhammad Ali was fast and smart and even though he got sick before he could win the championship again. Mayweather is very cocky but he is also one of the most fastest defensive fighters of all times especially in his weight class.

I would have to say that Mike Tyson in his prime was probably the best boxer of all times. Sure he's a bit off his rocker, but damn could he box If we could travel back in time and take Ali and Tyson from the past and put them in a ring together, I would put money on Tyson every time.

I think mayweather was over rated. He shouldn't have won his fight with pacquiao because in the end his face was all jacked up and pacquiao even landed more hits throughout the fight. It's just that mayweather was hyped up so much that people thought he was unstoppable.

That's just my $0.02 though lol

The MayPac Fight was rigged in my opinion no fighter should win that much money in one night. I guess when you have the MGM Grand casino and Vegas involved anything is possible. I Appreciate your 2 cents, thanks for sharing.

I come from the land of Pacman but I don’t see Manny Pacquiao as the best champion boxer of all time. Maybe it is Floyd Mayweather although his fighting style is not as exciting as Paquiao’s with his instant knockdowns and eventual knockout of his opponent. And even if Pacquiao has been champion in 8 weight classes, it is still the record of Floyd Mayweather as the best with 49 wins and no losses. In fact, one sportscaster said that Mayweather had not lost a round in his career. Isn’t that great?
