Why 5 days for order auto competition is good

I think recently many sellers have been asking the question about why orders get auto completed in 5 days and not 3 days? And I know there have been many debates between buyers and sellers. All buyers are agreeing for 5 days, and on the other hand, sellers woud rather have it at 3 days or less to have orders auto completed.

But, in my opinion, SEOclerks always takes the perfect decision for both buyers and sellers and I still think 5 days may be the perfect amount of time for an order to be auto completed.

Most of the sellers may say that on other sites and marketplaces it just takes 3 days for auto completions.

But I think considering how far Seoclerks has come and how great it is, there must be a good reason why this is so right? And the 5 days period for auto completion could be one of the reasons for this success. Buyers have more time to review the service that they paid for and this probably improves their satisfaction.

Please share you thought.

The 5-day auto-complete period is to protect the buyer. Maybe he will take a couple of days off and cannot complete the order right away.
Also, it helps the staff to notice bad sellers with services that don't last more than a couple of days.

5 days may seem a bit long for some, but at the end of the day since this has worked fine for so many orders over all these years that SeoClerks has been online, I believe that it is a good system. Waiting a couple more days is fine after all, and it allows enough time for a buyer to see if he is satisfied with the service provided, as well as ask for any editing. I guess that is a buyer's right after all. From my experience many buyers forget they placed an order, and they do not log in that often. So 5 days is just fine.

I've had experience in the past with buyers that would order a service of mine and not log in for days at a time. However, since most of my services or at least the main ones are fully automatic it wouldn't matter if they didn't log in. I just hope that they will come back to review the order, and rate the order.

I also wish people would just review orders more, as there is thousands of orders without ratings from buyers. I have some orders that I would love to get ratings for, either negative or positive.

Yes reviewing the order is another matter. All sellers want reviews as they boost our reputation and rating. They are the main form of advertising we get as prospective buyers look out for them. I find it a pity that buyers allow orders to get auto completed and then only a small portion of them bother to leave a review afterwards. I also wish there would be more willingness on the part of buyers to leave a review and a small comment, if not a recommendation. It should sort of be a part of their responsibility. I would do it if I were a buyer.

I wish buyers would be more responsive when it came to reviewing the order. As a seller you want to know how your product functions for the buyer. You being the seller, of course you're going to think your product is amazing, because you've created it, you are biased because it's your own product.

When sellers don't offer their advice, or give a review it doesn't give you the information you will need as a seller. I love getting reviews, and I don't care if it is a positive, or a negative. I just want feedback on the service I am selling to make sure it's as good as I think of it to be.

From the experience that I have had here there are 3 kinds of buyers:
  1. Those who accept an order and leave a review immediately.
  2. Those who are evidently online, have got the submission, but just do not spend a few seconds to rate and type a thank you.
  3. Those who are offline, forget about having ordered a service, and after several days they log in and often they do leave a review once they realize the order was completed.

Type 2 are the ones who irritate me the most obviously. The Type 3 buyers tend to be busy and do not use the site regularly, so I tend to bear with them.

Hi Everett Thanks for your reply and really agree with you. Order will complete automatically whether buyer will come online or not. But as a seller we are always expect buyer should be rating for service, which very importance as seller point of view. But, I same many buyer do not care it. They just going to dump after getting report or service, which really unwanted. And myself may be more than 6K to 8K order has no rating by buyer. If I got all those rating from my client, that should be looking more good for my services. As a seller we really expect it.

Hi EliteWriter thanks for your opinion. Yes I do agree with you. Many buyer do not come back within few days just after place order. And 5 days good enough time for reconsideration any service. Seems 5 days high and look anti seller but if you think other way like if buyer order complete with rating, seller just able to get paid within 24 hours, it is just awesome feature, you never see such type of facilities to similar site, which I already discuss in mike reply. It is meaning that SEOclerks care both of buyer and seller.
So, for me 5 days really good.
