    Bugs, do you fix them yourself or would you hire someone?

    I've been wondering, if you find bugs on your website, would you fix them yourself or would you hire someone to do it, i know that might depend on bug and they have its own difficulties also fixing them could take a lot of your time, but, personally i would hire someone only if i wouldn't have enough time to do it.

    What about you?

    I don't have any experience dealing with bugs so I honestly wouldn't know where to start to fix them myself. I would ask my sister to have a look first most likely. She is a web developer and very often has just fixed some little issues that I have had. On occasion there have been some bigger problems that would take a little more effort and time. In that case my sister oversees the process and gets her staff to sort it out for me or she will get someone she knows to sort it out and then I will just pay the bill for that.

    Hi procoder thanks for your question. It is very difficult time for a webmaster when he faced some bugs on his website. I think for fixing any bug he needs to efficient on that platform. For example: I mainly maintain wordpress sites but I do not get such bugs for wordpress. Few may problem sometimes I faced. But, I able to fix at all. Because, I have good knowledge about wordpress. If I could not fix myself, I should try to get help from Google or YouTube. Still any kinds of problem solution, I have got way from Google or YT. Eventually if you do not fix the bug any ways, I think you need to hire someone. That should be best alternative option.

    Well... To be honest, since i am a web developer too, it's actually challenging for me to fix bugs my self. Worst part of it is usually to find where the bug is. Once i know where is it, it's easy to fix. Sometime i had trouble to find bug. I know it's there, but it's like looking for needle in hay stack Bugs, do you fix them yourself or would you hire someone? If am not coder i would probably hire someone to do it. For me it's not trouble to hire another person to fix it but for some strange reason i pushing my self sometime over the edge to fix it my self, just because i can't say to my self that i can't do it Bugs, do you fix them yourself or would you hire someone?

    Since I create and program code, for me I don't often see my own bugs. I wouldn't know if a script of mine has a bug unless it was pointed out to me. Sounds a little odd right? I think this occurs because the more you stare at your code, the more you think it's all correct. You will see the code in a certain way that that others won't.

    So for me, I find it a bit shocking when someone points out a bug and I usually offer free support or bug fixes. The bugs are usually tiny bugs, nothing severe though.. thankfully. So always get a pair of fresh eyes to test the website or whatever you coded, as they may find stuff you have missed.

    Depends on the problem and bug. I'm not much of a coder so my ability in fixing code related problems is very limited.
    But I did fix a lot of stuff in my days, even though I had no idea what I was doing, kept doing it until somehow got it right.

    I currently have a number of friends who are very good coders. So my first instinct would be to ask them for help. Actually, I don't remember ever paying for someone else to do it. Only had three option really, fix it myself, ask a friend to do it or just drop the damn project (I did that a couple of times because of bugs).

    I'm going to be honest me personally I do not know how to fix bugs my self my only real option would be to hire some one for the job, so if I had to get that service done I would honestly just make sure I get the best for my buck , I do not recommend just settling with the first person to offer you a service as you can always search around for a better deal at a better price, you want to make sure that of course you get the right service but you do not want to over pay either

    I would definitely hire someone to do it for me. I have very little experience but instead of diving into this to learn everything I need to know before I can fix things, I would just hire someone to do it for me. No matter what the problem was. The WTB section would probably be the best choice for something like this.. ;) - It would be affordable too! Bugs, do you fix them yourself or would you hire someone?
