Misleading customers - Bad business? (debate)

Many of Seoclerks members are spreading good words about quality of our marketplace and proving that buying services worth every penny here, because it's very competitive prices for most of services offered here.

However i noted that some sellers are misleading their customers by providing some false information like saying one thing in service title and different in service description, or having service image (avatar) where it says one thing, title different and description different again.... This is far from quality and members should stop doing this because we value quality!

To be more confused, couple days ago i noticed one service with misleading title, but still having 100% rating on over 90 sales, so i am confused, because i guess that titles are main source of bringing people from outside in, then description is probably even not read on some kind of services, because it's so common, like providing Twitter followers perhaps...

However, titles, images and service descriptions should match!

I find it very strange that services have mismatched information and 100% satisfaction. I am one of those buyers that reads all the information on a service right down to the last comment. I am usually looking for something specific and I would be quite annoyed to find if the title and the description don't match. You are right, I find this quite misleading.

I haven't seen this for myself though, but I have not done a recent search of the market place for new services. I have my favorite seller and my favorite service that I use every now and then. I'll keep my eyes open for anything like this next time I am searching.

Untruthful, unethical and scammer buyers should be eradicated from SEOclerks. With every unsatisfied customer that has to deal with such sellers, SEOclerks will lose buyers. That's true for every marketplace out there. You always gonna have some people that just don't want to play by the rules or providing quality work.

Anyways, I think the staff is doing an awesome job at the moment, we can also help by point problems out when we see them! I think together we can keep this marketplace clean with happy clients that will return time and time again.

Hi anwebservices thanks for your nice question. I completely agree with you. And service has to match with 3 different area for example tile and description and need to use image appropriately. I think most of the seller aware about this. Because, you can not change word by title and description too. And buyer need to read all before placing order. If they get any confusion between title and description, he must to contact with seller, if he still interested to purchase that service. And I know some seller, yet not aware for everything. Like they write title and description both combine but use image one for all services. And I saw many social service seller doing this.

Yea I do not see why devices would have Mitch match info to be honest with you sellers who do that are definitely just trying to get on up on the competition I understand that completely I understand where they are coming from some times the market is hard to deal with but still personally I don't believe in doing this and I don't believe that any seller should go about putting different descriptions this will most definitely result in bad ratings from buyers and over all seller ratings going down is avoid at all cost to be honest but that's me

I've enjoyed my stay on Seoclerks and it's disheartening that some sellers would be involved in such a shady means of making ends meet. Just look at it this way, where you would want to buy a service and gets another different thing in return. This is not the good way of doing business.

I have to admit that it is the title that sometimes attracts me to buy certain services. Some people may not read the full description at times and they may end up purchasing the service and eventually get disappointed. For me, such sellers are simply dishonest. They will definitely lose customers in the long run. Moreover, this may also affect the reputation of SEOclerks. I think that we must report such sellers.
