Google is re-designing Adwords with new interface

Apparently, Google has confirmed that Adwords is getting a re-design for its user interface. It was confirmed today 10 August 2016.

Google is re-designing Adwords with new interface

This new doesn't really affect me since I don't manage Adwords campaigns on a daily basis. But the word on the "street" says they made a lot of changes, drastic ones and some stuff and functionalities are harder to find now!

Though the code and algorithm didn't change and this is only a design based update. I still wonder what the next big shock update will be? I'd hate to wake up one day only to find the Keyword Planner unavailable but Adwords having a clean sleek new design.

Had any of you notice the update yet?
Do any deal with daily Adwords campaigns? If the answer is yes, what do you think is the update impact from a productive point of view.

I noticed that Google is updating a lot of the designs. The Gmail homepage got a makeover, and now Adwords? Cool! I hope it's easier for users, as Adwords is one of their main money makers. If users create campaigns, and they find that it is harder to create a campaign due to the new design then it would reflect negatively and they'll have no choice but to fix it. So hopefully those hard to find functions are barely used. I hope it does well. I know the advertisement market isn't doing so well as a third of internet users have adblock installed.

I somehow think they will eventually find a way around those adblokers.
Just have a look at Facebook, there have been talks about forcing advertisements on people that use adblockers.
Apparently, 26% of users in the US use adblockers and that percent is only higher between young people. I think we will witness the death of adblockers on the following years.

I don't currently use Google AdWords but will take a look at the changes. I am interested to see what they are doing to make advertising easier for their users or any new tools they may have added.

I haven't used Google Adwords for about 2 or 3 years now so I will have to go and have a look soon. I have noticed that there have been a lot of Google interfaces that have been changed.

Google Plus was changed a while back and then Gmail too. Now this last week Google Trends has been changed too. So I am not surprised Google Adwords has been changed too.
