Google Analytics - no keyword provided for organic seach results

I have been getting so annoyed with Google Analytics when I look at my organic search results.

The percentage of organic traffic that they give me no keyword information for has been steadily increasing over the last few years. I looked now and it is sitting close on 92%!

Is there a logical reason for this? Are you also experiencing this problem?

I know that there have been discussions about other tools to use for tracking website traffic... is this happening with those tools too?

Can anyone explain this to me and how will I find out what keywords my organic visitors are using to find me? Can I access all of this information in Google Webmaster Tools?

Lynne, true it's annoying and not sure why it happens. For some websites of mine i can see "some" keywords from organic search, but in most other cases there is nothing, so i am confused too.... :/

Ok so I am not alone... but geez 92% of my results are hidden? That is just wrong in my eyes.

I did check Google Search Console today and I can access all the keywords and search information there so I will check that in future, but really Google Analytics should be showing all my results shouldn't they?

I cant see why they would do this. For me personally my organic search traffic is my most important traffic and I want all that information at my fingertips! UGH

Never seen 92% hidden but over hidden organic keywords as source of traffic is fairly common, over 50% in most cases.

I'm not sure why Google is protecting these keywords from the public, maybe to stop over optimization of content to increase organic traffic. Seeing these keywords will give us a huge opportunity into cracking Google algorithm by implementing step-by-step changes until we figure out the golden combination and optimization.

I've searched the web for good way of unlocking that data but nothing worked in a direct way. Yes Google Search Console may be a good way to figure out what keywords you get traffic from.

I also suggest you look at the organic traffic and your landing pages. Know which is the focused keyword on that specific landing pages can give you a general idea on how much traffic you get from that keyword.

Dose anyone has an SSL certificate? It is true that more keywords appear in GA if you have an SSL?

HI Cristian, yes one of my other websites has an SSL certificate and I still have a huge amount of hidden organic search data.

It would make my life so much easier if I could have that information on Google Analytics. From what I have been hearing lately the information provided by Google Search Console is hardly accurate either!

This has been such a source of irritation for me! Yes I have spent a lot of time and effort searching for a solution but it just seems like loads of other people have the same problem as me.
