Get Paid to Use Windows 10 Edge Browser & Bing Search New M$ Bing Rewards System

Whether to try and capture some of the Search Engine market share back to Bing, or just to get more people using Windows 10, Microsoft have launched a Rewards system in conjunction with Bing Rewards to pay (reward) people to use the Microsoft Edge browser that's bundled within Windows 10.

The Microsoft Edge browser is light years better than IE (Internet Exploder) but still lacks the same charm, charisma and features that the Chrome and Firefox web browsers have. Despite this more than a 3/4 of Windows 10 users aren't using the Edge browser as their main browser of choice.

So to combat that problem M$ is trying to get more people using Edge & Bing by paying them for it. M$ have teamed up with the Bing Rewards system to pay its users/searchers in points just for using Edge & Bing as their web browser & Search Engine of choice. Searchers earn points for searching in Bing and on the M$ Store of course!

You aren't paid in cash but rather points which you can then use to exchange for buying things on sites like GM, Amazon, Walmart, Starbucks and Apple etc. More and more. This is all very similar to SwagBuck which also rewards you the same way for searching in its Search Engine for things instead of Google and for installing it's browser toolbar. I actually used to use SwagBuck a lot back in the day and remember that after a while, I racked up thousands of points and was redeeming Amazon gift cards left right and center.

Some existing Bing Rewards incentives.

Anyway I think I earned a good few hundred bucks from it all in Amazon gift cards and that was only from using it for about 6 months I think. So despite having to make a change from searching in Google which is superior for results, and searching in Bing instead. Something many people may find rather irksome doing. It could actually prove to be worth doing in the long run if you're looking to make some extra income.

Plus your old browser will still always be there so not like you would even have to use it all the time. But why not if it's going to be rewarding in the long run?

It wont make you rich over night! Well if you're all about setting up multiple residual income streams this is just another one to add to the list.

Anyway this is currently only available to US residents. And of course, you must be using Windows 10 with Edge browser installed.

Find out more and apply on the M$ Rewards Announcement.

Are you a Windows 10 user with Edge and based in the US?

Is this something you'd be interested in taking part in?

Or are you already taking part?

If it pays as much as Swag Bucks did for me back in the day, I might just upgrade to Window 10 myself! Get Paid to Use Windows 10 Edge Browser & Bing Search New M$ Bing Rewards System

Ohhhhhh man!

I may just have to start using the edge browser lol. I have Windows 10 and the edge browser, buuuuut I'm in the 75% of people who don't use the edge browser even though I have it installed lmao.

It's pretty cool that Microsoft is going to be giving you credits in which you can use towards purchases on websites like Amazon.com. I would cash out my points, if possible, in October every year so that I could purchase all my Christmas gifts through Amazon Get Paid to Use Windows 10 Edge Browser & Bing Search New M$ Bing Rewards System

It says you can level up to earn a bit more, but I wonder how difficult it is to actually rank up. It also says you have to obtain 500 points a month to keep your level 2 status. They say it's not difficult to do, but we won't know exactly until this system is actually launched. If we get 1 point per search inquiry, I'll probably get 500 points in one day lmao Get Paid to Use Windows 10 Edge Browser & Bing Search New M$ Bing Rewards System

Offering people points that can be used to purchase physical items is a pretty clever way to start hacking away at Googles firm grasp on the Search market. I'm sure they will take a lot of users once this gets out a bit more. I wonder if Google will start changing something around to compete with Microsoft and offer credits/points to people who do searches each month. Google would have to pony up a bit more cash each month since they have a lot more users performing dozens of searches each month. I wonder if they would actually do this or if they would offer something else.

I like using Google and I like using Chrome or Firefox, but mostly Google Chrome so Bing and Edge are just not exactly appealing to me at all!

However add in an incentive program and I was willing to at least have a look so I clicked on your link and I got what I so often get being in South Africa.

I might have enjoyed it for a bit, like Razzy I would easily have racked up hundreds of points in day just doing my normal searching but I still think I would have made regular use of Google and my other browsers too. I was interested in trying out Swagbucks but I also couldn't get myself registered from South Africa.

Oh yeah and I can hardly buy anything from Amazon anyway because they hardly ship anything to South Africa so it is a double whammy!

I think it's funny when gigantic companies want users to use their products so they will pay them to do it. What incentive does M$ get from users using the Edge browser, is it advertising revenue? Like most people, I do not use the Edge browser and typically jump from Mozilla Firefox to Google Chrome browser completely bypassing Microsoft Edge browser.

If Microsoft Explorer didn't yield the results that Microsoft wanted, what makes them think that the Microsoft Edge browser will? I honestly think this is a desperate "call to action". They need it's users to use the browser, and they want to be a force in the internet world, which was how it was in the past but things evolve, and Microsoft just needs to learn to adapt to that change. Sorry M$ you're not in the cool club anymore.

I use Microsoft 10 as well as Microsoft Edge, however, I cannot participate in this reward program because I am not based in the US. I wish this reward program was available the world over.
