I have to agree, you'll get more traffic and conversions from the site which you're most active in. I'm active in Facebook so I get lots of traffic from it.

Whether facebooks give you more traffic or twitter gives more traffic depends on where you have highest number of followers and where you are active. If you have 5000 followers on facebook page and just 1000 followers in twitter, facebook marketing will give you more traffic. Likewise, if you have just 1000 followers on your facebook but 5000 followers on twitter, you get more traffic from twitter. How much traffic you get from facebook of twitter also depends on your activity. If you are more active on facebook, you get more traffic from facebook and if you are more active on twitter, you get more traffic from twitter.

It is a known fact that Facebook gives the most traffic, Not with the whopping 2 billion users on Facebook, so many people I know are not on twitter, even me if I was earning online I won't be needing a twitter account let alone own one.So more traffic can be generated from Facebook.

With the more than 2 billion users of Facebook, it proves to be the most popular social media network. I think Twitter has just about a quarter of users compared to Facebook’s number of users. And I find Facebook more engaging because of the longer posts that are more natural especially when included in the post are photos or videos. Twitter has a limit of 160 characters for a message and although it can include images and a video, I guess, it is far from the rapport that Facebook can give you.

It depends on how many friends or members you have in Facebook or the number of followers you have in Twitter. My ratio is about 50 visitors per 1000 friends, members or followers.
