Buying sponsored tweets. What are your thoughts?

Now buying sponsored tweets can definitely be an amazing thing to do in order to get the word out about your service or product launch. But there are things you have to focus on in order to avoid sellers who paid for all their followers just to sell sponsored tweets.

Some things you need to focus on in order to avoid pointless services that are selling sponsored tweets.

  1. Look to see if the profile is verified. A lot of bigger profiles will take the extra step to verify their profile so everyone knows it's genuine and actually them. There are some users out there, like I said above, who will just build a million fake followers in order to sell sponsored tweets. People building fake followers will most likely not take the extra step to get verified.
  2. Make sure the person tweeting out your message is in the same niche, or markets to people in your niche. This will increase your conversions ten fold and make you a happier person after the tweet goes out.
  3. Check the engagement of the tweets. If no one is commenting, favoriting, or retweeting the sellers previous tweets then it may mean they are tweeting a ton each day and people can't target in on one specific tweet to comment on.
  4. If someone is tweeting out a few hundred times per day, avoid them even if they have a real profile with millions of followers. Your conversions will be garbage because people are less likely to see your message since it will fall off of the sellers profile fairly quick. Typically the cheaper services will be hit harder and less likely to get you a sale because more people are buying it. Target the tweets that are $15 or less because not as many people will be purchasing these. Some people have success with the $10 tweets, but I don't usually risk it.

Does anyone else have anything to add?

Thanks,

Razzy

I tried buying sponsor tweets from a website called "sponsoredtweets.com" which didn't yield the results I was looking for. Believe it or not, I got more promotion, and clicks from Twitter tweet exchanges. However, if the twitter account was a popular twitter account, or perhaps a celebrity or youtuber I could see potential there. I never purchased a tweet from a celebrity or youtuber, or a popular twitter account because the price is hefty, and I never thought it would provide the results that I wanted. But some people have great success with this, and if they feel the need to purchase a sponsored tweet than they can go ahead and do so.

I've never heard of sponsoredtweets.com but that sucks you didn't get any results Buying sponsored tweets. What are your thoughts?

I've used SeoClerks a few times when purchasing sponsored tweets and I'm usually pretty happy with the results. Like I said above, I would buy specific tweets for whichever website I was trying to promote. I wouldn't stray from my niche though. I would purchase tweets based on the niche and it worked out well, not as good as I would like because I want to make $1,000 per tweet, but I wasn't upset with the results and that's good enough for me haha Buying sponsored tweets. What are your thoughts?

Purchasing from a celebrity or youtuber with a lot of followers would definitely be worth it. I purchased one tweet for $50 before and it was from an up and coming celebrity who had like 2 million followers. The tweet did pretty well and I'm still getting sales from the people who clicked through. I just wish I could pay this guy to tweet my ad every day so that I can increase the sales a little with each push Buying sponsored tweets. What are your thoughts?

You'll need to find the right sponsored tweets for your website and when you do I want you to cherish them and never share lol Buying sponsored tweets. What are your thoughts? Everyone is looking for that golden goose, but you should never just hand it over. Let them know how you found it, but don't give them the map. Give them examples of what you did and they can take action and gain the same success with sponsored tweets that you had Buying sponsored tweets. What are your thoughts? I've never shared my successful sponored tweet services to anyone because I don't want them to get swamped.

Oh poops cos that was going to be my question Razzy haha, I was going to ask which seller you used LOL

Yes I think you are right on this.I think if your message is good and if the account has lots of real and active followers and it is niche related then it could do very well indeed.

I guess if the services get swamped they won't be so effective anymore like you said.

Well, everything can't work for everyone.I think sponsored tweet can be of help if we target the right profile and the person tweeting has real people, not bots followers.A lot of people that has thousands of followers may just be mere bots so one can to be careful of the account one is using.

Choosing right seller for sponsored tweet is essential like for buying any other services. All your tips and points are right and worth reading before buying such service(s).
I successfully sell sponsored-tweets since i started working on Seoclerks and i am very proud of that. I have to say that huge number of followers is not always important. Having good percentage of real people as followers and many interactions by them is more important thing. Even celebrities doesn't always get best results and they are usually expensive to buy from.
Researching how influential someone is, is more important when it comes to buying tweets.

Hi Razzy thanks for nice sharing. I am sure your all tips will help to anybody before purchasing sponsor tweet. And for promotion any business sponsor tweet very effective to bring potential client. But, many of seller selling fake tweet on fake account where real people connecting rate too low. I usually use my twitter profile to promote any business. Though I have not much followers. Few thousand of followers I have and all are genuine. But I did not fill any requirement which you explained. So, anytime same method may not work. It is true that for purchasing from freelance for sponsor tweet, your tips will help greatly.

I never had any success with sponsored tweets. Even on profiles, I knew for sure most of the followers were real. I also think the niche plays a major role in such a campaign. I mean, with SEO for example, unless you are a really big authority, having let's say, 60k followers means nothing.

I got a sponsored twitter from a 60k account and I only got around 100 visits, I actually got more re-tweets that actual direct visits. Turns out that at least in online marketing, few people actually click the links, some just read and just re-tweet without actually engaging.

Same thing is happening on Facebook, I had a 20k liked facebook pages about traveling, all of them real people, I post there about 4 times per week and rarely get more than 50 visits per week from facebook. A lot of people like it, but few check it out.
