This is usual. Often at times, at the end of summer (school starts in the fall, and it's nearing fall now here in the United States), during winter, and near the holidays sales will go down quite a bit. What you could do is mark services on sale, bump your services daily, and do off site promotion to bring in new buyers.

I actually experience a big bump in sales, I think I already got more orders than in the first half of August, just in 4 days.
Don't worry, sometimes sales just stop coming, you are exercising a dry period, it happens to most sellers here, eventually, you'll start getting orders again, don't worry too much. Keep publishing new service, bumping them, and improving them and the clients will come.

The last 6 months has been a rollercoaster for me lol! Now that we have so many new sellers and so much more competition its getting hard to keep the same clients, in fact my turnover is the highest its been all three years that i have been on seoclerks. I have maybe a hand full of clients that buy regularly the rest come and go. Usually when i see a decrease in overall sales i will post on Facebook so an email blast and bump some services on seoclerks and update my status here on seoclerks. I think by doing this it increases my visibility and helps my sales while i am "In a slump".

I've seen a huge increase in income myself in just the last week but I am not a freelancer like you. It seems that I am making a lot more sales lately and all my stats are on the rise which is really cool!

I hope things improve your side, remember September has only just begun so it is jumping the gun a bit saying that your sales have gone down, maybe there will be a huge leap before the end of the month comes.

We have a different season here but I guess the off season is the same as September which is a rainy month here and families have no budget for other things because their money is focused on the schooling of children. But I guess this September bug is just temporary because business is still flourishing in other industries especially the food business and the wet market.
