3 Reasons I love email marketing!

Email marketing can be put pretty much on autopilot

Yes of course you will have to put some effort in to start off with but that work will be put to good use. A good example of this is that you can connect your blog to your newsletter so every time you post new content it automatically gets sent out to your subscribers without you having to do a thing.

You can also set up a series of newsletters that every subscriber gets. So yes once again it will take some time and effort to write up these newsletters and perhaps give them a tweak every now and then but this series will work for you for many years to come.

Your message goes straight to its destination

This is way cool and oh so different to other types of marketing. When you send an email it goes to your readers inbox and it sits there waiting for your reader to deal with it.

Think how different this is to social media where if your target audience is not sitting right there at the right moment you send out your posts? Chances are they will never see it

Emails are actionable

Yes no matter what your reader does with the email, even if it is unsubscribe, delete or mark as spam -they must DO something with it. Ok so hopefully it will be to open it up, read it and click through to your offer and purchase...

I Love email marketing too! They generate leads 90% of the time those leads can be very profitable! Email marketing is also one of the most cheapest most affordable ways to market your brand or services. I use email marketing on a monthly basis and it works well! Not only is it likely to pay for itself, but it will also provide a higher profit margin. Email marketing popularity has increased over the last few years and i guess so have the scams. so how do you set yourself apart from them? well one way i do this is offer a free trial so people can try my services before they buy. Then i send them directly to my seoclerks profile!

Oh yes it is very cheap when you think about it 3 Reasons I love email marketing! Yeah I think the huge amount of scams that are online now make it very tricky for an honest online marketer to make sales.

People are either chasing the impossible they think is true (ranking overnight #1 on Google, or making buckets of cash fast without any work) and then when they are told the truth they want the impossible or alternatively they have been burned before and so don't trust anyone.

Yes a free trial is a good way to go. I only ever buy something if I am able to try before I buy!

Never managed to automate my email marketing to a point of good conversions that are actually worth the trouble. I always customize as much as I can't my emails, the truth is I don't really email customers, I mostly email influencers which are way harder to get email actions from.

I usually create a default email template but try my best to customize it based on the influencer I'm contacting. I always get their names right and I always read their websites/blogs first and mention some content I liked or considered valuable.

I think new Gmail tabs for promotion and the options for the inbox makes it harder to use emails. But it can be bypassed. And you have to let the users to decide how to filter the promotions in such case. I have found that you reminding them about the filter and the sorting can be good option. That requires some time for things to setup but this seems doable. Just requires some effort. But email is profitable so there are ways to handle.

Honestly I like email marketing but it is time consuming and need to build a good list before thinking about selling services or products from it.
I didn't succeed with email marketing but luckily I had SEO which helped my sites more.

In my opinion, email marketing works only when you have a list that is made up of genuine subscribers. If you send your emails to the people who have voluntarily subscribed to your email and are actually interested in your content, then only you have a greater conversion rate. If the receiver does not check your email, or even if he checks but do not click the links, there is no point in sending emails. You need to have at least 50 percent conversion rate to consider email marketing as a successful marketing method.

I agree with you on this point, if we don't have a quality list, everything will be a waste of time and efforts and no result when using email marketing.

For email marketing, you need an email list. You need a big list because not everyone will open the email and even if they open, not everyone who opens will check the links. In order to maximize your email marketing, you need a list of genuine subscribers.

Yea, email marketing tends to be a lot easy especially when marketing products that need more explanation.one can take time to put them out in the email maybe with the pictures accompanied. It gets to the destination because it will certainly will and if not one will be alerted by the email bot.Action is always taken by the recipient when once the email was impacting and one doesn't to exert much energy like other means of advertising.

I agree with you lynne. I also love E-mail marketing. In fact I would argue that it is my number one recommendation for marketing online. This is because you are communicating with you are directly talking to your audience. You can address any questions that they have directly. Other forms of marketing are so impersonal. I also like the fact that once you write the emails it works on auto pilot. Once you get your copy writing right you are good to go.

You are right that the message goes directly to the destination. However, my experience tells me that most of the business emails that I receive go directly to the spam folder because that’s the way I want it. I just check the spam folder for important or interesting email subscriptions and place it in the inbox. To be honest, I have many email subscriptions that I don’t really use at all.

Email can be an effective marketing tool. Not only are you able to tell customers about new deals but these also go out to existing customers who might come back to your site and buy something else.

One thing I've learned is for email marketing to be effective, you should build a mailing list yourself. Most of your emails will be opened and read. And since these people already are interested in whatever you cover in your blog, it would be easy to sell them something which you think they might need.
