Using emojis in emails ot increase conversions

People think of emojis and they instantly think of the smiley faces via text messeges or even the poop emoji with the little eyes lol. But they can be used in other places than on your smart phone when talking to friends or family.

Using an emoji shows your emotion, and it's extremely difficult to pick up on the emotions or tone of someone via email or text unless they're using lol, lmao, haha, hehe, etc. at the beginning or end of their posts.

Using an emoji here and there will help show your potential client that you are a nice person and down to earth.

The one thing that I have to express is that you cannot begin to use emojis right off the bat. You need to wait until the potential clients throws in a happy emotion using lol, haha, hehe, etc. or uses their own emoji. The only time it is acceptable to use an emoji with a potential client is if they express they are truly worried about signing up because they've heard bad stories in the past. You can then add in something like "Jane Smith, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. My team and I have been doing this for years and we will treat your Website/Campaign/etc. like it were our own. It will be like you're part of the family Using emojis in emails ot increase conversions " And that's they only time you can do it before them!

The use of emojis will give the potential client the idea that you're not just a cold hearted person at the other end of the email and that you care. This will increase your conversions because they will trust you a bit more and in turn are more willing to sign up Using emojis in emails ot increase conversions

I don't quite agree with this. Yes emojis may give an idea of what one is thinking or feeling, but I would rather remain professional and limit their use. A smiley face in a chat conversation is okay, but I would not use it in the site's content or in certain emails for example. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with emojis and I like using them with friends and with clients that I am regularly communicating with, but when it comes to dealing with someone for the first time it does not seem quite okay for me at least. If the client/prospective client uses an emoticon, I may add one in the next comment/reply/email too but I do not think I will use it first.

Depends a lot on the niche of your company and what exactly are you selling, but overall I don't really care much about the use of emojis in emails both from the seller and the buyer perspective.

Sure I use emojis when I chat with a potential client here on SC via private message but email, well I always have seen emails like very official, even if you already started a conversion going back and forward, it would not be professional enough to start using emojis or things like LOL or LMFAO.

I absolutely love emojis. I agree that they can be used in a business and negotiation conversation to make the discussion more personal. I think the days of traditional, formal business are over. The more personal a conversation, the more the client trusts you in m opinion. However I think you need to wait until you are on a more friendly base with the client to use emoji. Overall I think that this is a good idea.
