Does Seoclerks have a bad or good reputation outside? Am confused.

Is seoclerks still highly recommended by almost everyone out there? How does the internet world view seoclerks? do they see it as a legit site or a site full of scam sellers? I say this because i have noticed in some forums like blackhatworld, digitalpoint etc where internet marketers and buyers have argued seriously over this with some saying that Seoclerks is full of fake seller that is why you can buy a service for just $1 while some have argued that the seoclerks site is very real and delivers genuine products and services.
well, as for me, since i started with seoclerks, i can say that if is a very legit site in all my dealings with it.
please has anyone experienced this before? what is you take on it and why do they see seoclerks that way?

I would say it depends on who you ask. Sites like DigitalPoint, and Blackhatworld, often people who got their accounts banned usually get disgruntled and create topics like "Stay away 100% scam!" when in reality they we're breaking the site's Terms of Service, or violating Listing Guidelines.

I would not buy any social services such as twitter followers, facebook likes, youtube subscribers, etc. Also, I won't buy $1 SEO services because most if not all are crappy and you do "get what you paid for" and sometimes you get negative seo too! I would stick to services that have a higher price, and experiment to see what works and what doesn't.

Overall, the maketplace is just like any other marketplace, you get crappy sellers, that have crappy services. This is why the review/rating/recommendation features exists.

I have to agree with Everett here, anyone that has been banned here will most likely be pissed off and talk badly about the website. And people do get banned when they break the rules and offer scammy services.

Exactly,..like there is a particular guy who opened a thread in digitalpoint and was ranking that seoclerks is a FULL-SCAM site that siphons sellers cash and also full of fake services, though very few supported him, a lot of others were against him, then i did a through check on him and observed that he was banned from seoclerks for some reasons- probably he went against the rules which i strongly suspect. after all the arguments, it was finally agreed that seoclerks isnt a scam site afterall.

Yep that is the guy who I was referring to. He was banned from the marketplace and decided to launch a smear campaign against the marketplace. What's really funny is that, even DP users that weren't on the marketplace were siding with the marketplace. There is basically no evidence that SEOclerks is a scam, however there is a large difference between members scamming and a website that scams.. which this marketplace doesn't.. of course.

I totally agree with you. the guy wasnt able to provide any evidence that he was scammed. anyway thanks for your response.

I don't agree. Yes there are a number of people who probably have had their accounts banned because they are doing stupid things but from my admittedly limited experience with Seoclerks, I have encountered at least 2-3 vendors of the 4 purchases I've made which were full on scammers. The fact that they still have accounts on here and still are making money is a little suspect. There is no doubt that in the past, buying traffic and links off of this site gave great results but it seems like these days things are a bit different if you don't know who to go to.

Im also aware that these services are just a small part of SEO clerk's offerings so my opinion might be drastically biased.

It feels more likely the people who bitch on BHW or other forums came onto this site, made one transaction and encountered problems because of their inexperience then just called it quits.

Please make sure you report these sellers and provide proof of their intended scam. That is the only way they will get removed.

I have also seen the same issue, @Chetaseo as old members we know the this is not a scam.

I am very happy that they are always look for scamers and try to et rid of them. I have met only 1 scam profile and as soon as I notice, they quickly took the actions on that.

In addition as a site they have not ever become a scam one. Coz they paid me soon as I requested and no hidden fee were taken.

Exactly bro,. it is not a scam site; that i know very well. As for payments payouts, they deliver on that very well; infact in PayPal, you get your dollars delivered to your PayPal within 5 minutes. BIG KUDOS to seoclerks staff for that.

Sellers who are not inclined to be good sellers, or who try to scam, are going to be found everywhere and anywhere. This does not make a site be known as one that has a bad reputation, and that is certainly not the case with Seoclerks. They take things very seriously, try to see to the actions of users so as to avoid scammers and sellers who try to be paid for a service that is not that good or incomplete. So from that point of view I am sure that Seoclerks is one of the sites that goes out of its way to keep things as legit and as safe as possible.

Well I think that any marketplace can have people that sell shitty products and services, so that is hard to control. I have bought some not so great services here before and I have bought some absolutely amazing services that have helped grow my business big time.

The difference here is that when I first arrived I knew nothing about online marketing or working online. I didn't know what I needed to buy and in addition to that I needed to do work on my own websites first to make the services I bought effective.

I haven't spent a lot of time on online forums so I am not sure what the reputation of SeoClerks is like outside of SeoClerks. All I know is that I love this website, I love this marketplace and I have my favorite sellers and services that I love.

Same with me too, infact seoclerks is one of the sites that has really made me have a good knowledge of SEO and internet marketing in general. As for the selling of scammy gigs, it may be very hard o control but its a matter of putting strict measures on areas that are very venerable and ensuring it doesnt happen too much. like the issues of setting up social networks gigs most especially on likes, followers, views etc. seeing someone saying that he can deliver 10,000 facebook likes for $1 is surely a scrappy service which can give seclerks a bad name. it all depends on the buyers to research and go for only whitehat services.

I have also learned loads here, so I love it and I get lots of great suppport and advice.

Yes true, I totally agree with you that some services should not be allowed, but SeoClerks is constantly improving and clamping down on things like that. There is always moderating going on and that is a huge task. I am sure that this marketplace will just continue to grow.

Some of the negative SEOclerks reviews on digitalpoint and other webmaster forums are really old, like back in the day old. SEOclerks was never a scam, but as any new marketplace when SC first started some buyer from digitalpoint may have had a first-time bad experience and considered that the whole website is a scam.

Also, you also need to take into consideration the competition, digitalpoint actually had a marketplace of its own, now that marketplace is almost dead while SEOclerks flourishes and expands further.

hmmmmm,.... maybe so as per that of competition. but yeah truly speaking, the posts are old but are still generating some serious controversy on the forum. but in my final conclusion, i truly believe that seoclerks in NEVER a scam site afterall. big kudos to the seoclerks staff and admin who are doing a wonderful job.

Sure the seoclerks was never scam. Maybe some sellers here wanted to scam people, but I doubt to pull anything off without getting banned, fast.

Yes I do believe a lot of people will bad mouth one opportunity to try and profit from another. Either because they are an affiliate of another opportunity or because they are opposition.

I see so many contradicting reviews online for loads of companies so I always prefer to check it out myself. I was hesitant when I first arrived at SeoClerks and yes some of the services are a bit dodge sometimes but after spending enough time here I have come to see it is a great place to be.

You'll actually find this with any website, product or person that is popular. Just type "<website/product/person> <scammer/scam/etc>" and you'll find thousands of results from disgruntled users. The problem is, when a person purchases something from anywhere and leave happy, they are not inclined to post about it publicly (typically) outside of the website. If a person buys a service and does not receive what they want, they become disgruntled and are 10x more likely to post about it externally.

Thus you have the phenomenon of popular websites/products/people having tons of negative feedback externally with a very small ratio of good feedback. It does not matter who you are or what you do or what you sell, if you become popular enough you will see this happen to you as well.

I think that seoclerks is simply one of the best micro jobs and/or gigs site over there!
Definitely one of the best!
Like everywhere, you will find good and bad sellers over here! If you see many typos or errors in the service description and also some robust negative feedback, it is a red flag and maybe the seller is suspicious... But it depends, on many it is not the case.
