Providing people with a professional hugging and cuddling service is one of modern society's trending services right now that is trending and being paid for all around the world from London to LA, Tokyo, Japan, Amsterdam and many other countries around the world have professional hugging services you can make use of if you're ever in the need of a good hug or a bit of a longer snuggle and cuddle! You can get a quick 5 second hug or even pay for a 60 second hug. You can get a quick hug or you can even get someone to actually snuggle up to. If that is what you feel you need!

Hugging People - It's big business!
According to this post on Newstime, this NY Graduate student Jacqueline Samuel charges around $60 an hour for a cuddling session. Her business is so popular and in so much demand that she's had to hire and add more professional snugglers to her work force who get orders and go and drive to their location and give them a hug. Charging people $100 for 45 minutes, $120 for 60 minutes and $180 for 90 minutes.
Crazy right? Who'd have thought hugging someone would pay so well? Apparently the snuggling sessions are meant to be therapeutic and comforting, building on the "psychological and physical benefits of nonsexual touch". What's as crazy is that Jacqueline wanted to have that professional touch by seeking out training on how to give hugs but could not actually find anything. But it hasn't slowed business down!
So really all it seems you have to do is start advertising this as a service. You could place cards in shop windows, community boards etc and advertise online / social media etc. Then you'd just have to get someone contact you who was in need of a good hug and then go to them or send someone to them to hug them. Or have a snuggling session with them! Then collect the payment and go home.
The only thing about this job, despite it paying well, is that it would involve getting very close to people. Obviously. You can't hug someone from a distance. But if you're the sort of person who will happily give some poor lonely soul a hug to cheer them up if they want to pay you $10 a 10 second hug then why not!?
How to get work as a professional body hugger?
You can find this online. There are a number of websites that sell body hugs. You can go to them and purchase a body hug from someone. But you can also apply to be a hugger on some of them too. You'll probably have to have some hugging XP though!
You could also busk it! Just put a sandwich board out saying professional body hugging. Get your 60 second hug for $5 or something in the middle of a busy street. Then as people pass ask them if they want or need a hug. Not at all looking like the front for an Oliver Twist style pick pocketing campaign lol.
