In addition to what Procoder said, so far as I know, force cancelling an order puts a permanent negative mark on your rating that can't be removed.

Force cancel is just an insanely powerful kill-switch that can damage your rating, so just don't use it... not ever! And, not for any reason. As said before, only use mutual cancellation option.

If a buyer is being a pain and won't agree to cancellation, you can always send a support ticket to ask for help with order cancelation.

If the staff cancels your order at your request, there are NO negative consequences.

Also, don't forget that you have the 'reject order' option as a seller, that can be used within the first 24 hours after you receive the order.

Oh interesting, thanks for all this information. I am newly a seller but a long time buyer so I am not that familiar with how all the cancelling options work as a seller. I didn't know that force cancelation will leave a permanent negative mark on your account!

A forced cancelation should be a last resort. If you want to cancel an order, it is best to discuss it with the seller or the buyer. In such a way you can agree as to the reason or reasons why a cancelation would be best, and you can then both opt and agree on a mutual cancelation. A forced cancelation for no specific reason, and done often, could lead to account restriction if I am not mistaken. Besides if you are a seller and cannot handle an order you have the possibility of canceling it within 24 hours since it is placed.

I believe at this point everyone knows not to use the force cancelation option. Why this option still exists, we'll never know but it is probably there for those that want an immediate cancelation, like for an example, if they can no longer provide the service to their client for some unforeseen circumstance i can see why they would force cancel an order.

Hi TopSEO4you thanks for your question. Mutual cancelation and force cancelation between both has few different on SEOclerks. Mutual cancelation means you and your buyer or sell both are agree to cancel order due to any reason mutual understanding or communicating. If you request to cancel order mutually other side has 2 days time to reject cancelation or accept cancelation. Either order will cancel after 2 days automatically. And your seller or buyer profile does not effect by negative rating.

On the other hand, force cancelation only active for seller. But, cannot use this featured. If you do not want to do job for any buyer, you can cancel order forcefully anytime. And order will can instantly but, you will get negative feedback for force cancelation.

So, my suggestion, if you think to need cancel order forcefully, do not use this featured. Rather, you can use mutual cancelation or within 24 hours just after place of order, you can cancel or reject order, without negative feedback.

Yes i use this very often sometimes things happen and i cannot complete or the buyer does not want to accept any replacement services. I have said many times that we need a block button for those buyers who just do not quit. I only use reject order when i have suspicion of sabotage or the buyer is acting like they don't want to pay for the service. Mutual cancelation with a detailed explanation of why usually works out well. Like Beverly said if you have a problem with a buyer or seller contact seoclerks admin. We have some of the best people here at seoclerks that handle all kinds of problems swiftly and with accuracy. Remember the seller or buyer also has an inbox shooting them a message may also help before losing your mind about a slow response.

I think I never forced canceled an order on SEOclerks even though with some clients I was pretty close to losing this war. Getting myself a negative score is really not my intention, better getting that from the buyer and also getting paid than having to do it on my own.

On the other hand, I use the reject option quite a lot, I think it was the best feature that was ever implemented on this matter because it allows you to remove toxic or imposable buyer without any problems on your rating.
