Just 3 more weeks left to the greatest year we have seen for Bitcoin

Bitcoin has had probably the best year that we have seen so far. Apple Inc made it possible to buy things on Itunes with BTC. The halving happened which limited the supply of Bitcoins to miners and traders. Bitmain changed the mining industry with the most efficient ASIC miners to date. The most important thing for me is that Bitcoin doubled in value. So much has happened i cant name them all. Have you watched Bitcoin this entire year of 2016?

Here is the full year chart on Bitcoin:

Just 3 more weeks left to the greatest year we have seen for Bitcoin

As you can see we started out at just below 400. We dropped a little below that later on the in the year but quickly recovered and we have not seen 400 again. Since October we have been seeing an overall uptrend and it does not show signs of slowing down just yet. In 2015 Bitcoin only went up 100 dollars so its safe to say this is the biggest year since 2013. We should see 800 before the years up if not shortly after we will see stable numbers over 800. Bitcoin news will continue to come here on Seoclerks as i think its important to help educate people to make smart investments.

Jkeyz2 if that other discussion is correct then it would be stupid NOT to invest in Bitcoin. Part of me totally understands why this is so huge and it makes me itch to invest in Bitcoin. But there is another part of me that is still confused by how it gets mined, it just doesn't make sense to me. I don't think I will ever understand it!

That said since you have started posting regular updates here I have been following and keeping up with everything you have said. I totally think Bitcoin is going to be so huge.

Mining is a hard concept to grasp for some but once you get into it the picture just comes together. I have simplified it down to you buy machines you connect them to a pool using very easy software it comes with and they generate money. After this all you have to do is watch and make sure the machine dos not stop hashing and also the power does not go out. Bitcoin could be the biggest thing to happen since the internet, its already passed Twitter in market cap value. Peoeple dont realize but Bitcoin has a market cap of 10 billion if that number went to 50 which is very possible Bitcoin would be worth roughly 5K per one coin. Buy it as often as you can and hold onto it.

Like Lynne I cannot really understand what Bitcoin is all about, although I appreciate the fact that it is indeed profitable from what i read in your posts. It seems too complicated and demanding for a beginner I guess.

If you want to learn more or if you have questions let me know. Bitcoin is the wave of the future and those who got in 3 years ago and those who get in before its to late will reap the rewards. Buying Bitcoin is really simple and you don't need to mine for it in order to do that. Holding on to Bitcoin is the key so if you can buy miners great if not buy it and hold onto it.

Go bitcoin Go! I want to leave the day when my salary will be paid in Bitcoin and when my main currency will be bitcoin!
2017 will be a very interesting year from every point of view that I can think off, not only bitcoin but everything online will be innovated and transformed, let's hope for the better!

Oh yeah, and I promise that in 2017 I will definitely invest in some cryptocurrency besides bitcoin, didn't decided yet on it but I will after the new year, I need to see bitcoin stable at 1000 bucks first.

I still find it hard to believe that BTC is something someone just literally made up.. It's like I would say "hey, now you'll be able to buy mansions with stones", and people buy tons of stones, and start to use it as a currency. - Seriously?! - Sure, not the greatest example perhaps, but still.. It's weird. And odd. And amazing at the same time!

I will invest in BTC during 2017. I just have to do it. Some way. I don't know exactly how I'll do it, but I have to. I wish Steemit will "rise from the dead" again. Because that was something amazing to witness actually. And I got some pretty insane earnings from there, so that would be a superb starting point in my journey to grab myself some BTC.

I just checked bitcoin price. It is standing at 5789.02 USD. When I earned my first bitcoin in 2015, it was $400. By the end of 2015, I had 2.5 BTC. However, I did not know the true value of bitcoin at that time. Therefore, I converted my bitcoins into USD and spend the entire amount. If I had held the BTC on my coinbase account, I would have 14472.55, based on the foreign exchange value I would have 1507750.25 by now. THis is a lot of money in my home country.

It is a good thing that you have already tried Bitcoin. To be honest, I am hesitant to try it because I consider the Bitcoin as a commodity and not currency. You can call it digital currency or crypto currency but still it is a pseudo currency which is just a product. But in fairness to the Bitcoin, its value had greatly increased maybe due to the law of supply and demand. But what happens when there is no more buyer of Bitcoins?

I have never thought about "what happens when there is no more buyer of Bitcoins," what actually worries me is "what happens when all the bitcoins are mined? I believe there will always be buyer for bitcoins. Bitcoins is a commodity as well as currency. You can use bitcoins as an investment as well as a currency for various transactions. One primary thing that worries people about bitcoins is what if it fails. I don't see bitcoin failing, not until the blockchain technology fails.
