YouTube Movies - Why And When Did This Happen?!

Hey guys,
Out of nowhere I went to YouTube earlier today, just like I always do.. - Do you know what happened?

THIS:
YouTube Movies - Why And When Did This Happen?!

You can rent movies on YouTube. I have never seen anything like this at all, and I've never seen this on the first page of YouTube when I'm going there. I usually see the recent videos I've been watching and recommended videos. - I've never seen movies I can rent.

And, what about the prices then?! - Are they insane?

29 SEK is = $3,14, and that seems to be the lowest price you can pay to rent one of the movies.. 39 SEK is $4,23..

I do realize that I must have missed this entirely, as one of the comments from one of them was made 4 months ago.. So this is not something new.. But it is new to me because I've never seen this on the FRONT PAGE.

Best Regards,

Yes, I have seen them and watched a couple of free movies.. I think the movies cost too much. Also, I have a Netflix subscription, and it only costs me $8.99 a month, and most of those movies are on there.. if not, there is always amazon prime. Sometimes the prices for the movies are outrageous, you can definitely tell Youtube wants it's cut. The free movies seem to be old, which is the usual selection if a platform offers free movies.

Yeah! - The movies cost too much. I totally agree on that. - Why would anyone (and I know that people have) rent movies for $3-$5 ?? - To watch them one time and then pay for the next movie they want to see.. Weird.

And YouTube, which is such a big actor.. The biggest actor. Why would they charge that much for a movie? - I haven't seen any free movies being offered at all, so I have nothing to say about that.. But I totally believe that they should make some sort of subscription like Netflix, if they're going to make it with this.

I just use BitTorent for movies and seed like mad because i like all the internet fog that this creates and would never pay google (who owns Youtube) a penny if i can help it due to all the censorship

All that free candy contained drugs and now they have many people hooked and are reeling them in like fish and blocking any new start-up out

I can see why you're using torrents for this, and I did the same too in the past. But I'm personally against it nowadays.. Even though I still appreciate "freebies" whenever I can.. YouTube Movies - Why And When Did This Happen?!

Well it also makes me feel good to deprive Hollywood of any revenue given that Israel has a major stake in film productions and feed us fake news via the news stations that they own cross the world

Long term they will shoot themselves in the foot as they try to stop people because it will drive more people underground so that will help to keep big brother out of our lives and anyway production costs will become almost zero for films as more and more is produced using computer simulations instead of real actors and all the props needed in the past.

That metal man in Terminator 3 was not real i tell you and that's years old

I agree. I've seen this quite a lot of times everytime I search for a certain clip/scene of a movie in Youtube. I think the prices are such a ripoff, a Netflix subscription is even cheaper than this. They don't even offer a subscription model (or at least as far as I can tell) where I could only pay once and watch the rest of the available movies for free.

To be honest this is the first time that I heard about that. I usually watch movies for free on the internet. If I can rent some recent movies on YouTube then it will be great. I will definitely check this out. Thank you for sharing.

My take on Youtube movies is that you can watch them for free. I haven’t heard of movies in Youtube that are paid for watching. Maybe that is like testing the waters if there will be takers and in the future Youtube can be the platform of movies instead of the cinema. But I don’t think I would pay to watch movies in Youtube unless it will not be shown in the cinema.
