I agree with Mike, your question does not make great sense!

It sounds like you are concerned about reaching the right target audience on Facebook. Well in my experience Facebook is one of the best ways to advertise your business. You can target gender, specific geographical regions, language, interests, age...., I am not sure actually where else you will be able to fine tune your audience to such an extent as you can with Facebook advertising. I have found it incredibly helpful for my business.

That is the cheapest way to reach ideal customers as long as you really targetted their audience well on the facebook network.

The question also does not make sense to me. Whether you are reaching your targeted audience or no depends on how you are targeting your ads. If you targeted your ad to the people in the US, your ad will appear on the feeds of Americans. If you are targeting your ad to the people in the age group of 18-25, your ad will appear on the feeds of these people. If you are doing free advertising such as posting on page or groups, you will reach the people who are following the page and members of that group.

I don’t think anyone can say that they are hitting their target audience because let’s not forget that Facebook is a social media. And even if you have a Facebook Group with a niche that is related to your business, still you cannot be too sure that all the members of the group are interested in your product or service. But on the positive side, the more people you reach means the more chances of getting your message to the right parties. And with a persevering attitude, time will come that you can get it right with your marketing.
