    I don't think that you will be able to earn money with just traffic until having good and attractive website content. If you want to earn money with your website then I will suggest you to do SEO and add new content regularly. Then you can buy some traffic for getting some extra visits for your site. I think most of the people do this. On the other side if you don't have website and still want to earn money with traffic then you can choose some URL shrinking site who will pay you for promoting shorten links.

    Creating a good and informative website if first key to making money from traffic. Without a website you have no where to direct the traffic to. Once you have the website working on monetizing it and adding advertisements such as Google Adsense is a good idea, don't add too many to each page, may in the footer or the header of the page or even down the side of the page is best. Once you have a website in place and yours ads in place then it's time to keep the fresh content coming onto the site and buying traffic to boost your earnings. It's not something that will happen in a day but with time and patience good things will come.

    I think this is an old discussion because from what I had read recently, selling traffic in this site is not allowed anymore. But for the sake of this topic, I am wondering why people want to buy traffic. Don’t you know that traffic can be fake? If you really need traffic then my suggestion is for you to find an SEO specialist or a freelancer who can do SEO work for you at a lesser cost.
