10 Great Attributes of The Perfect Employee / Freelancer

Hi all. You may remember a few days back I posted a guide on 12 Outstanding Traits Every Great Boss Should Have as well as 12 Annoying Personality Traits of a Bad Boss and What to Look out For. Because knowing those can help bosses to be better bosses and help great bosses become even greater! But since a business is made up of bosses and employees, I thought I'd do another for 10 Great Attributes of The Perfect Employee too. Since the employee is what helps your business tick over, knowing these things can help you identify which employees are perfect!

1: They are Ambitious!
The perfect employee will be ambitious both for you, the company they are working for and for herself as well. They will forever want to improve their self, their abilities and achieve their own goals as well as those goals that your company has. These types of employees are the ones that stand up and be counted!

2: They are Autonomous
The perfect employee is able to work on their own, by their own, without needing to ask for help and assistance from other employees or from the top. They can work on jobs and tasks with very little help needed from anyone else. These types of employees will help your business run smoothly!

3: They Are Humble
The perfect employee is a humble employee. They are well grounded and down to earth and they are able to to do their job without being arrogant and bossy. These types of employees will win the respect and admiration from your clients if they are fortunate enough to deal with them.

4: They are Passionate!
The perfect employee has a huge amount of passion for what they do, for the jobs they are assigned to do. They undertake them with passion and zest and zeal and they do them as though they are doing them for God Himself! These types of employees are a dream to have work for you and every business needs passionate employees!

5: They are Confident
The perfect employee is very confident in him/herself. They are confident enough to take risks and they do so because they believe in themselves and believe what they are going to do is going to work out and be for the benefit of the company as a whole. These types of employees are what get things done at the end of the day.

The perfect employee always speak the truth and rejoices in the truth for that matter too. They never lie about anything to try and protect themselves from being "chewed out". They win respect from being honest and that is what keeps them in the their job. These types of employees are to be highly rated and awarded for such honesty.

The perfect employee is creative and ask the most unexpected questions! They are the types that think of alternative ways of doing things that are "outside the box". These types of employees are what will help your business to survive when you have competitors edging you in from every corner!

8: They are Reliable
The perfect employee is someone that you can count and rely on, time and time again to come through for you. You can give them a task to do and know that they will complete that task by the end of the day and if they can't, they will the next day. These types of employees are worth their weight in gold for getting stuff done!

9: They are Eager
The perfect employee is an employee that is eager and hungry to complete tasks and they are forever and always wanting to learn new skills they can put under their belt. Eager employees are perfect employees to have work for your business and they should be rewarded for that with a Christmas bonus!

10: They are Positive
The perfect employee always adopts a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). Even when times are tough and doom is pending, they are the ones that see things in a positive light. They are the ones that can think their way out of dark and hairy moments by just thinking positively about something and 9 times out of 10, they are right!

Conclusion

This list isn't just for employees! It can be applied towards freelancers as well. A great freelancer for example, will have all of those attributes and more! As the perfect freelancer will be ambitious, autonomous, humble, passionate, confident, honest,creative, eager and positive.
